I have been coming to this place for all my dry cleaning as well as hemming (since 2016!). The owner is super friendly, and transparent about the timeline and cost range. I had my bridesmaid dress hemmed here as well (which could have been quite complicated due to its design). Always satisfied with how they turned out! I am so sad (and surprised) to see some negative reviews :’(

This place is great. I'm not sure how they have such a low rating but they have consistently been amazing, on time, with high quality and great service. Rick is very friendly and their family has owned this cleaners for years. One key advantage of this cleaner is that they have their own equipment, which means FAST service. They also do cleaning for guests of nearby hotels. 5 stars!

Went to do some alterations in this location. They don't do alterations in the house so it would take a long time. They also don't have a changing room, so you would have to change in the washroom.While I was changing in the washroom, my perfectly white jumpsuit became dirty. They have a leak somewhere in the washroom so half of my belongings became 1. Dirty 2. Wet.The lady at the cashier pointed out that my white jumpsuit is dirty but refused to take responsibility for her dirty space.I walked out of this business and would not recommend anyone to use it.UPDATE AFTER THE OWNERS REPLY:Based on the negative reply of the owner, you can clearly see the customer service you would receive at this business.Run, don't walk away from this business and the owner. Out of all the businesses on the harbourfront, this is the worst one.

Hi, I would like to take this opportunity and acknowledge the great work this place has been doing for so long. They are the only place I found who could do justice to Indian wear for dry cleaning like Kurta, Bandh Gala Suit, Sarees, etc. Their laundry service for regular clothes is just exceptional. It's really hard to find such amazing places in the heart of the city. I am truly amazed with the service, prices and delivery. Kudos to the team and keep up the great work!!

The owners are extremely friendly and gives alot of helpful advice. I've gone through several cleaners, and they seemed the most knowledgeable out of all of them and actually takes care of your clothing. I've never experienced any damages (you'd be surprised, I've gone through several incidents where the cleaners damaged my clothing and avoided responsibilities, and they were all astonishingly well rated in reviews) and it's always a positive experience here. Look no further :) This is the place for dry cleaning.

Such funny negative reviews here. Someone’s dress became wet while she was in the bathroom at a dry cleaner — seriously, LOL. What kind of nut bags inhabit the world. This is a superlative cleaning service. It’s fast. It’s reliable. And the owners are not “rude”, they’re matter of fact. Not sure what losers expect from their neighborhood laundry serving but this is a wonderful feature on this side of Gardiner.

I took in a winter coat for a zipper fix. The first time the coat was worn, the zipper separated. When I called to complain, the woman who answered said my kid had tried the coat on in the shop. This is not true. I won't be returning.

Speaking from 8 years of patronage I can attest to the good and consistent service of Platis. I live in the Pinnacle towers and have been using them basically ever since. I did try a few other dry cleaners in my work towers but they weren't as good and sent the clothes out which I am not a big fan of. I have have everything done here from suits to dresses' to coats and one off's. I have had minor alterations and everything has come back great. Prices are fair; and a reminder it's downtown Toronto; real estate ain't cheap! Very happy with the service and staff and will continue to support and use their services. Highly recommend for those in the neighborhood.

Dishonest. Extremely Rude service and they try to overcharge based on sizes. Was told small sizes cost extra. Never heard that before.Inconsistent prices from one visit to next.There is a lot of other options nearby and down the road south. Much better service and prices thereHave been to quite a few dry cleaners. You’re* def not the first. You don’t need to be an expert to know Dry cleaning prices. They’re pretty consistent throughout the city. Also have been to your shop 3 times. It was enough. Your store also has multiple bad reviews saying the same thing.

Me and my girlfriend brought a few pairs of pants into this shop. Right after I took out the first pair of pants, the clerk already flipped. Shown in the picture exactly as it is with the zipper needed fixing, yes with some cat fur, while the place has cleaning printed on its window so I cant understand the issue that was raised by the clerk, thinks its the owners son, gave me and my girlfriend a quick lecture saying we should think smart, do smarter for bringing sth “ruined” completely destroyed he said. I then realize cat furs’ tremendous damage on a cleaning and tailoring business, he asked us to leave the store and take it elsewhere.We then brought the pants exactly as it is to a different shop hundreds meters away in the exact same condition with furs, that shop said no problem and happily took care of the pants and most certainly didnt feel the threat of our stupidity and cat fur on pants.Thanks for the clerk to use his minimal effort to show that he is not willing to share any positivity towards potential customers, and based on the reviews, it would be way worse if you are their customers, so thank you for saving us a big favor and making us find a place where the clerk dont give out lectures at 9 in the morning.
