Dr. Spence and all the staff at the clinic are absolutely amazing people! Their love of their job and the animals that they care for is very evident in every interaction I have had with them. They are the regular clinic for my dogs Jar Jar Binks and Ryder whenever we are on the coast for work and they have been so great with both boys. They always take their time to discuss treatment options and plans and have been very helpful in helping steer me in the right direction with a number of things. Thank you for all the hard work you do!

I can't say good enough things about all the doctors and staff of the Sechelt Animal Clinic. They helped my little chinchilla - although an exotic - on several occasions with dedication, knowledge, and amazing care!Everyone is so nice and friendly, which makes the hard situation the animals are in so much easier.Thank you for all your support and help!

Best vet experience I've had in years. The prices are also more than fair, and they aren't trying to nickel and dime their clients. Highly recommend these folks. All were kind, gracious, and pleasant.

I have ONLY had AMAZING service at Sechelt Animal Hospital. I’ve been going here with my rats and dogs for years and all the staff are caring and kind. Dr. Leah Quanstrom is the best vet I’ve ever met and she’s great with all animals. If you’re looking for a place where your pets will be treated as family, look no further.

Our 13 year old Labradoodle, Briggs, had a very significant health crisis last week that was terrifying. We awoke to his sudden collapse, shaking, food/water refusal, difficult to locate but evident pain, and severe gastrointestinal issues. Right from my emergency call to Jennifer (Reception) that led to Dr. Rachael Spence making herself immediately available, we felt enveloped in compassionate urgent care. Briggs was admitted with an unclear diagnosis and his excellent medical treatment was very capably managed by Dr. Spence. We felt confident he was in the best place he could be. It came close at times and we knew we might be faced with a difficult decision to make. Three days later Briggs had made a miraculous turnaround. He is at home eating, voiding, wagging his tail and walking with confidence. We feel like we have our dog back and we love our current challenge to limit his activities while he remains on bed rest" in the short term.We can never thank the Sechelt Animal Hospital team enough and we are very optimistic we will have more precious time with Briggs. Thank you

We had an emergency yesterday (Good Friday) with our 12 yr old golden Kayley and contacted the emergency care for Sechelt Animal Hospital. They were able to open their doors to meet us on a holiday within 45 minutes as our dog was having mild seizures. Dr Rachael Spence and the terrific staff walked us through the many tests and xrays and provided us with professional and friendly care during the entire process. We were there for several hours and we were provided with some after care medication. Unfortunately, later that evening our dog grew worse and had a full-blown seizure. We contacted the emergency line and received valuable care advice from Dr Quanstrom that allowed us to calm our dog and make it through the evening without further incident. In the morning, Dr Rachael called back to check in and provide the radiology testing, which confirmed what we dreaded, the possibility of a cancerous growth. We are now referred to Canada West for further testing and will be crossing to Vancouver to care for our dog. Although it will take some time to fully sort out our dog's medical condition, we just wanted to take a moment and write this review and let the staff at Sechelt Animal Hospital know how very thankful we are for their kindness, professionalism, and expert care. You've all gone above and beyond the call of duty and we and our dog Kayley appreciate everything you've done to assist us. Between our own vet Dr Rick Smalley (who also called us this morning to check in) and the Sechelt Animal Hospital, we are well covered for our pet needs and the personal care we received just goes to show us that we made the right decision to move to the Sunshine Coast. Thanks again, we appreciate everything you do!
