As a lifelong dancer and newbie to the Latin scene, I am always impressed by the dance expertise offered at EDC. The classes are fun and the teachers have a vast technical repertoire. The technique taught at EDC has incredible depth and breadth. As a dancer, I am always supported and challenged by Sydney, who is an amazing dancer and teacher, committed to bringing out the very best in her students. The Espinozas are the best Latin teachers in Edmonton! Love everything about EDC!

I've been with EDC for about a year now. Sydney, Laureen and Alex are amazing instructors. I joined the studio with little dance experience, but they're always very patient and super fun! Mastering salsa and bachata is challenging at times, but I'm glad I chose EDC :). Now I'm on performance teams, and I'm so grateful that they give opportunity to even new dancers like myself. I recommend EDC to anybody who's thinking of taking Latin dancing classes.

I have been going to EDC Studio since October 2019 as an experienced social dancer. The instructors were able to correct my technique is easy to digest pieces. Aside from technique, my musicality, partner and shines have improved which gives me a ton of confidence on the dance floor. I recommend this studio to beginners and experienced dancers!This studio has become my second home with the friendly and supportive environment.

Five out of five stars for EDC Dance Studio :) This place caters to all dance levels, great detailed & challenging classes to tailor everyone's needs. In every class I'm learning something new from highly skilled instructors with great focus on techniques. I can't recommend it enough, this is the best place to be if you want to learn to dance in a safe & supportive environment.

As a newcomer to Edmonton, I feel lucky to have found a place where I to expand my Latin dance knowledge while meeting friendly people. EDC is the only Latin dance studio in town with several Salsa and Bachata choreography teams at different levels. I totally recommend it.

I took a private class with Sydney et Alex because I was stuck with somes moves in bachata. They covered my list of needs and answers all my questions. It was very efficient and fun and I can now go a step further.

I am a very quiet guy, an introvert who does not really talk or interact much with people I do not know well. It is just very hard for me to make the first move and hold a conversation with someone I do not know that well, but coming to EDC Studio was a game changer for me.My first dance experience was actually with ballroom dancing at the university dance club, but then I was too shy to ask the instructors for help or ask someone to dance with so my progress was very slow. Then I found EDC Studio, and do not get me wrong I was and am still very shy in terms of asking people to dance hence I do not social dance, but the 3 main instructors at EDC Studio, Sydney, Alex, and Laureen, are all very friendly and approachable, especially Sydney, the director of EDC Studio. She just has this extraordinary present that makes you feel very comfortable to interact with, you can ask her anything in regards to dance and she will pour her heart out to try and answer your question to the best of her knowledge and the most important thing is she never makes you feel that you are not worthy on the dance floor. Having the privilege of dancing at EDC since its inception back in 2019, I have seen what Sydney had gone through to date and yet she always showed up to the studio with a lovely smile on her face, somehow she has this special ability to always lift you up in life through her dance. EDC studio is a down to earth, come as you are kinda place. It doesn’t matter what level or shape you’re in. This studio can work with anyone as long as you can show up. I love the dance family atmosphere here where we not only learn to dance but also do life together. Come expecting to meet amazing people, new friends and build confidence and skill!!

What an amazing dance instructor family! Wow! I have been with them for years and I highly recommend them! If it wasn’t for my ankle injury and other injuries, I would still be going daily! Such fun classes and genuinely amazing human beings! Must check them out and their socials!
