It’s been a long time that I had food I love this much! Everything is good. The chicken was juicy, the skin was crispy, and the sauce was very tasty with the right amount of spiciness, but not your normal “spicy” flavor: it has other layers of spice and taste in it. The lamb/goat is also very good. Which surprised me is the rice. At first I thought it was just a side dish, nothing special. But after I took a bite, I just realized that the rice also has many layers of taste. That was a very satisfying dish, and brought me a lot of joy in a cold winter evening!

People, please don't hesitate to go to this place, it is wonderful! This food felt so much like home that I cannot wait to go again and have something else. We had the griots and the chicken small size and it was enough! Very economic and outrageously delicious. I believe its the only créole resto in this area. Go try it!

Really bummed because I liked this place but got denied service today. I wanted to order only extras on the menu but the server told me I’m not allowed to do that.Being on a keto diet, I don’t eat a lot of the items in the full plates (i.e. rice, plantains, beans). But I still wanted to patronize the place because I like it.Seems to me, if you present items on the menu, you should sell them as advertised.Lost a neighboring customer.

The legume plate is the tastiest meal I've had in a long time.First time having it was here.I work two blocks down and will be going back 2 -3 times a week.Amazing owner is very charming and welcoming.I Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.Compliments to the chef.

This is the first time I ate Creole food. I thought it was like Costa Rican food, but it’s different. Taste great anyway. Meat is tasty and flavor is good. Rice is nice too. The only thing is it is an oily meal, but once a while it doesn’t matter. Chicken is recommended, lamb is not as good as chicken.

Great spot! Fair prices. 1st timer there, we were well welcomed. Ambiance was a bit lacking. Food was great. Get the goat its wayy better than the pork but both are pretty great!

Discovered this place by accident and let me tell you, it s been long time I have tried grillo this good and tasty. Really liked this small place, feels like a family restaurant, very clean and prices are so amazing for the meal I got. The rice is so perfect I enjoyed this with some spices it included in the meal. Totally recommend this place to those who love Haitian kitchen!
