Tommy Gun's Original Barbershop

Both myself and son got haircuts, promptly greeted when we came into the establishment. Very professional as well friendly, had a great conversation with my hairdresser, she cut my hair exactly as i wanted. Will definitely be a returning customer.

My son has sensory issues and haircuts have always been traumatic for him. This is the first place to show him patience and understanding and teach him about the clippers so he wasn’t scared of them and we managed a successful haircut with no screaming or tears. They made it a fun experience for him and we will definitely be back again.

Had Byron help me out, he did a wonderful job on it. As well as explained a few facial hair trips! Will definitely be sending some people his way!

I went in to get a Traditional Cut, was super impressed with how well I was understood, she cut my hair exactly the way I described what I was going for. Also, the girl at the till was the first person to educate me on how to keep the cement style product from drying up and I've bought that product for years and no one has informed me of that! I only wish I could have giving them a bigger tip on how well served me!

Was in to see Tessa today for a men’s cut. She did an excellent job … best haircut that I have had in ages. I will be going back !!!

Came in for a cut, got the type of cut I'd expect at a Tommy Gun's. There is a reason I don't regularly go to TG's but I was staying in Okotoks and needed a cut. My regular place is in the NW of Calgary and I didn't want to drive that far, probably should have driven...Little attention was paid to my cut. No attempt to keep an even cut was made with the clippers. No attempt to blend my cut into my beard was made. Minimal product was used when I requested product be used in my hair.The only saving grace? The girl working the front counter! I was in need of a new beard oil and she was fantastic. She gathered up all the samples from the back and discussed each with me helping me find an oil I liked and that would work well with my beard.

This was my 4th time there and I have been very happy with my haircut every time. My Barber has been Byron every time and he has done an outstanding job each time, he’s skilled at what he does and is very personable.Only reason I’m leaving 4 stars and not 5 is because I set up and confirmed my appointment on their Tommy Guns App, and it gave me a 0-5 minute wait time. But when I arrived at the store, they told me 20-25 minutes, so don’t know where the ball got dropped there, obviously not a huge deal but can affect your day and schedule

Had never heard of this barbershop, but we were on vacation and my kid really needed a haircut. We dropped in, and within 5 minutes someone was helping us. We met a great barber who actually listened to my 14yr old explain what they wanted, and gave them the best haircut that they have ever had! This shop is outstanding and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a great cut!

So, I am personally not a client of tommy guns, but my son is 6 and he is. Last visit when we were in I noticed a new face and the barber AJ did an AMAZING job on my son’s hair. He was so attentive and kept my son happy the entire time. He spent time with him and the quality was certainly a cut above what we’ve had in the past. I didn’t write a review after that, but tonight my husband was in and was assigned to AJ and his cut was also amazing. People need to be recognized for their talent and this is the best way I can share our experience. Thanks AJ!!!
