My wife and I just popped in for a quick lunch today. We both ordered from the daily feature platter. Food tasted great and was plated on butcher block platters. Overall it was decent experience until we got the bill. We were both very surprised to see that we had been charged for pop refills. I am surprised that this establishment feels the need to charge an additional $4.25 for each glass of fountain pop. You got the transaction but will not get return business. If that is your policy then may I suggest more transparency when a customer orders.UpdatedThe manager/owner reached out to us to let us know that the server had made an error. They have gone out of there to more than make up for unintentional mistake. We will definitely give this location another chance.

Thirsty Rooster Eatery & Bar
I had lunch at the Thirsty Rooster yesterday with my son. The service there is by far the best in St Albert. I have been there numerous times and All the staff are amazing weather you go in during the day or at night. The food is by far the best in St Albert. Thank you for always giving me the best experience. I will definitely Be going there on a regular bases.

Came here for Sunday brunch, and was extremely happy with my experience. Ordered the chicken & waffles, the chicken was moist while still crunchy. Served on soft waffles and your choice of gravy or syrup. I also ordered their Cappachini (half price drinks all day Sunday), and it was absolutely delicious.They also offer various options of pub food, they have a great beer selection, pool tables & live music at night.If you’re in St. Albert or passing through, I would highly recommend coming into the Thirsty Rooster.

Thirsty Rooster Eatery & Bar
I thought I would check out this bar since the previous establishment I liked was shut down. This was unfortunate as I did like it but new opportunities heh! Next door to this bar is Earls, now while I like their food, I try to support new local business. I noted a prior reviewer indicating the Thirsty atmosphere is bland-it is true! I'm thinking that this may change in the future, I hope so. Their bathroom had more bar ambience (see pics) Service was great. The staff were friendly (Angelica and Maddy) and on top of keeping their customers happy. I ordered the $10.00 Monday Weekly Feature Fish and Chips. The fish was cod and it wasn't over battered or over cooked. The chips were equally as good. They have events on Wed (trivia night) and live entertainment on Saturdays. I can't speak to either evenings as I have not attended. With checking out and good luck to the local owner.

Was attracted by the interesting name so stopped in to check it out.Wasps soon as we walked in we were pleasantly surprised to discover that this was a BBQ restaurant!Many good beers on tap, the house lager is excellent.Tried the platter, chose the brisket and the smoked turkey and it was amazing! Huge, thickly cut and lean brisket that is one of the best I've ever had. Not many places offer turkey for some reason but the smoked turkey was perfectly done and delicious as well.Had poutine with this huge meal and it exceeded expectations,Service is always good and the staff is always very helpful.Many other options on the menu that I plan on trying out also.Highly recommend this for anyone traveling in or through St. Albert

Came to try their smoked brisket but they were out for the platters. Ordered brisket tacos and brisket sandwich both had good flavors and meat were moist. Fries (with my daughter's kids meal) were not fresh as it was cold and a bit soggy. They also ran out of onion rings. Service was great, server was attentive and friendly. Will come back next time to try their other BBQ

Always an amazing time at Thirsty Rooster! The new Summer Menu looks absolutely fantastic with lots of lighter meal options! Enjoying the BEST Sangria currently on their beautiful patio!
