Great little restaurant with a grocery section at the front that I highly recommend browsing through while your order is getting ready. I had the large cevapi and they were delicious and indeed LARGE.Atmosphere was super paid back and welcoming, service was great (it felt more like I was part of the family than in a restaurant). ll definitely be back!

The market portion is excellent as it has everything and more from what we are used to finding at a normal Balkan market. The prices are reasonable, and for certain items can be slightly cheaper than other Balkan markets.The restaurant portion is amazing. Interior is designed to resemble older traditional architecture, and the food is always great tasting and great portion sizes. The pricing is average as compared to other restaurants that sell the same items.Only issue is parking. The parking is very small, and narrow. It is one way in/out but some people cannot see and it causes issues when trying to maneuver through.

Had the Serbian breakfast and the cheeseburger. Quality and the way everything is prepared is top quality. My go to spot whenever I want a home cooked Serbian meal.

My favourite place in Kitchener-Waterloo. The staff here is truly the best. Everyone who works here is so friendly and a pleasure to see.I love the Turkish coffee and the delicious Fructal organic juices are the best in town. The food is great too. Also, the building has the coolest interior I've ever seen. I love the seats and decorations.This is a very nice place to sit and relax. It's the perfect place to invite a friend to chat. 10/10

Definitely a hidden gem in Kitchener. I've passed by this place countless times and only just decided to pop in. On one side is a well organized eastern European grocery and deli with lots of modestly priced international treats and some halal options.On the other side is a very homey restaurant/cafe with (presumably) authentic eats at prices that can't be beat for what you get. I sat down and tried the chevap ($11 for large), which is bbq'd mini sausages on their homemade bread served with some raw onion. Hearty and delicious.The owner is Jasna, the radiant blonde woman in my picture. Her English is so-so but she's super nice. Her son works there too. He told me they're Serbian in background.Will definitely return!

Hidden gem! I've been meaning to come here for months. Finally got it and it was worth it! I ordered the goulash beef stew which comes with mashed potatos, coleslaw salad and fresh steaming bread. The value is incredible. The taste is delicious. Friendly little gem, like stepping into a little bistro in Europe. I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes. Yum.

Very cute family run business. Staff were super friendly and let us know what everything on the menu was. The Serbian breakfast was amazing and a great value. Tres leches cake was also fantastic and very reasonably priced. Honestly one of my favourite restaurants in KW

Tried the Serbian breakfast and Turkish coffee here and I was not disappointed. Everything was delicious. The staff were super sweet and gave us a detailed description of all the the desserts at the end of our meal. Definitely will be coming back for more.

*** A hidden gem *** This fine restaurant serves delicious homemade dishes in a relaxed, homely atmosphere that transports you to a different place.*And, to make matters even more interesting, it also shares this space with a European grocery store and deli. Great to tackle two things in one trip!*For their signature dish, the goulash was excellent. It was complemented by freshly baked bread and perfectly balanced coleslaw. Additionally, the cheeseburger was also good, and satisfied the cravings for healthier fast food alternatives!As for dessert, try the apple or nut strudels for a light snack that won't put you into an after-lunch food coma!Their prices are very reasonable, the preparation time was fast, and the location is convenient. I highly recommend a visit - and bring your family!
