Came here for the first time for a date night dinner. Absolutely love the atmosphere here. Live music was amazing. Just the right volume. The food, oh what can I say about it, just incredible!! We had the Korean Nachos, Flatbread, and Duck Wings, which were outstanding!! Our server was also amazing.Kudos to the owner, chef, and the amazing staff. Will definitely recommend and cone back again.

Resevations recommended for unplanned visits on Saturday evening. The hostess was able to accomodate my guest and I but she mentioned that a lot of tables were reserved. The table she offered was by the window but she should have cleaned it first. The last customers food was still on it. I had the in house ice tea and fish and chips. The tea was ho hum but the fish and chips were suprisingly great! The subtle spices on their fries was delicious. The batter on the fish was perfect and the fish was delicate, cooked to perfection. The Tavern is in a heritage building which gives off a cool vibe.

I’ve been wildly impressed by The Rich Uncle Tavern, and they have held up to my high expectations for multiple visits. The decor and vibe is unique and lovely and the live music on Friday and Saturday nights adds to the charm and experience. The staff are great and knowledgeable about the offerings if you need a recommendation. And most importantly, the food and cocktails are INCREDIBLE. The dishes are well curated and delicious, with some rotational menu items. On my last visit my guest and I enjoyed the phyllo baked Brie, a short rib flatbread that was absolutely incredible, like seriously, something to write home about. The lamb burger which was incredibly seasoned & flavourful, and the TRU salad with chicken. Accompanied by the Bees Knees & smoked cocktail feature, this meal was what dreams are made of.On past visits, I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying the whiskey & Dubliner dip, duck wings, Korean nachos, truffle fries, and sticky toffee pudding, and let me tell you, not one of them disappointed. The sticky toffee pudding is an absolute must try.Stop in on the weekend for a killer scene, complete with live music, great food, exceptional service, and a cool ambiance.

BOMB FOOD! If you want to try something different but still a little familiar this is the place! I’ve been twice since moving to the area and the Dubliner dip is still my absolute favourite thing. I tried the pressed sandwich today and the sausage rolls which I didn’t have last time and man they were good. You can tell that the chefs in this kitchen really understand flavour as there’s this complexity to each of their dishes that compliment the flavours quite well. Well worth the money.

The peppercorn burger isn't joking about the peppercorns. Thickly crusted. Piled with veg and the bacon sauce is fantastic. The Blueberry sage 'Clip Joint' has the deep bourbon flavours balanced well with the fruit.10/10 would recommend

Had dinner here on a Saturday night. Wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Would recommend the Dip the Bill beverage (no alcohol but has egg whites). The alcoholic drinks are strong. Had Korean nachos, salad and fish n chips. Fast and friendly service, fun historical atmosphere. Centrally located. Nice bathrooms, clean and functional. Will come back.

Right away, walking in the door we were greeted and lead to a table with menus and polite advice on ordering we began the deliberation. There are so many great options! We decided on fish and chips and I chose the Duck Wings, which were fabulous. The staff worked as a team to ensure we were served and satisfied throughout the lunch, always cheerful and decidedly helpful. It was the perfect dining experience for our low-key celebration of Canada Day.Oh, and the desserts, well you cannot go wrong, but we chose and enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding, served with ice cream.

We’ve visited The Rich Uncle Tavern a few times over the last couple years and have had a five star experience each time. The drinks food service and atmosphere are exactly to my taste. We even had our wedding rehearsal dinner here and the staff were incredibly accommodating. Last night we were back celebrating a friends birthday and they had a singer song writer performing who was fantastic and a few posters around promoting future events they’re hosting. Definitely worth checking out.

The atmosphere was really nice but food and service was the worst I've ever received. I got the Eggs Benedict and a vanilla latte and my mom and sister got the crepes and French toast. The hollandaise sauce tasted like plain mustard and was watery and I found a hair in it, it was supposed to come with a slice of tomato but it didn't. The lattes were only 5 ounces and they didn't even fill the cups completely (lattes are typically 11-15 ounces) and I think they forgot the vanilla syrup. The crepes were VERY sweet (like inedible, youll get an instant tooth ache) but the French toast was delicious and not too sweet. When we brought our concerns up to our waitress, she justified them with blatant lies instead of fixing the issues (for example, we said we were shocked at the size of the lattes because the sugar pack was taller than the cup and she lied that thats the traditional size and that it's the only size of cup that restaurant has- larger cups were visible at the bar.) I asked for onions instead of mushrooms and she came back saying they gave me extra sauce instead because they didn't have any onions in the restaurant, which I didn't ask for.

Nice vibe and atmosphere, server was wonderful. Funny sitting at the Chefs table we could hear the head Chef calling board which at times startled us because it was so loud but I love the chaos so that was cool. All the apps had good flavours and textures. Myself and another person at the table got the steak frites but unfortunately it was disappointing. Our steak had zero salt, not even a sprinkle and the sauce/butter on it was quite bitter, greens were overdressed and soggy but frites were decent and well seasoned. Drinks were well crafted with enticing options. The steak was a huge no no especially without the seasoning and while the Korean Nachos were quite delicious the toppings were only sprinkled over the top, two layers of toppings would ensure others at the table get the same experience as a sharable. Once two people grabbed off the top, the rest of us were eating dry Nachos. I'm giving 3 stars because everything else was good. My app recommendations are Korean Nachos, Duck Wings, Fried Brussels and Whiskey & Dubliner Dip. I'd go back to try a burger, regretted not getting it as a main.
