Day & Ross Freight

Lost 2 seperate shipments, months apart from one another. First one took them days to find, second one never even made it past their Thorburn loading docks before it was not dropped off" or existant to them

This company is a joke! We were to receive a new bed in a box on January 19th. It is now the 25th and still it has not come. 3 days straight we have been told it's out for delivery but nothing arrives. We call and they still say it's on the truck. Then we are told the weather was too bad and the trucks were pulled off the road. Funny because Midland delivered a skid load to our location without problems. We also had a Day & Ross van deliver in this impassable weather conditions. He had an order consisting of 4 boxes YET there was only 3. One time we had an order coming from a location a 2 hour drive from us. IT TOOK 2 WEEKS!! I could go on and on but I won't bore you with their incompetence! Their customer service is non-existent! This is not our choice to use them. Unfortunately it is out of our hands, but we did get one supplier to switch to Midland and we have no issues. If you can choose your carrier, I strongly suggest you find someone else!

Good people to work for and to work with

Correct details were provided however the warehouse manager decided he knew better and provided the driver with a different incorrect number. No one called the number on the documentation. Result? Late delivery of course and two lost days personally. Poor communication. Low integrity. Lots of excuses.

One of the worst shipping companies I’ve had the unfortunate luck to deal with.Said they tried to deliver my package 4 days ago and no one was home.But I was. They never knocked.Called customer service the next day, was on hold for 20 minutes then got hung up on, so I called back, same thingCalled the day after, was told it would be delivered yesterday. It wasn’t.Called again yesterday, was told they couldn’t find my package, and once they did they assured me it would come today. Surprise, it’s still not here.
