Congenital Cardiology Clinic - Newmarket

Ignore the haters. My daughter has a rare condition that requires expertise and Dr. Singla has been fantastic; friendly, optimistic, empathetic and incredibly knowledgeable. When we've asked for tough advice, he hasn't hedged his bets, telling us what we need to hear with an eye on the best results for our kid. He doesn't placate, instead being respectful while direct. The condition is genetic and when I visited him, as much as he was helpful, he showed no ego in directing me to someone he felt would be more appropriate. I can't make a higher recommendation.

If I could, I would give this practice 0 rating. Management is totally unprofessional. Had an appointment scheduled for my baby yesterday, very early in the morning. Had to wake up my two small children at 6:30 to get there from an hour away city. We get there, I open the door to find construction guys inside. Turns out they've moved, and did not mention it in the booking email. Neither they updated the address in their automated phone directory. We make it to the new location, and it is closed. I give them a call to see what was happening, and the women just casually says that there's been a booking mistake, that they do'nt operate on Fridays. She did not even have the decency to apologize.She then tries to reschedule us to a different day, to which I said no.I am not going back there again, and definitely not trusting my child's health to unprofessionals like them.

I was treated horribly by the man doing the ultrasound. He made me feel very uncomfortable and was very rude and had no sense of privacy.

My daughter was referred to this cardiologist, we went there waited for hours, done all procedures needed but then till now no follow up calls or anything to let us know if the tests were okay or what, to me veryunprofessional no communication and follow ups, just leaving the patients anxious and hanging. Till now tried calling for follow up and inquiry, no one answers the call, you cannot even communicate with them properly. Very unprofessional and no patient therapeutic relationship.

If I could give zero stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous. They gave us a window of 10 am to 6 pm to wait for a virtual appointment. Ok fine. We advise them we have another specialist appointment that day at a set time and ask if the call can be before or after that appointment. Receive a text with a set appointment time for that day. Great! We join the call at the set time, wait for 40 minutes and Dr. Singla doesn't join the call. We disconnect because we now have to run to our next appointment. Send them a text asking if the appointment will be rescheduled absolutely no response. Ridiculous communication skills and Ridiculous time management. I understand a doctor can be busy but at the very least they should give their patients the same respect they expect. Show up for your appointments. You expect your patients to be on time and present so be on time and present or at least have the decency to email, call, text people that their appointment will be rescheduled or cancelled.

We had an appointment in July for my 16 year old daughter to do an ultrasound for her heart at the clinic. The technician who did it was very unprofessional with poor English. He kept moving my daughter's hand and head toward the opposite direction that he was telling her to move. After she was done, she was told to go to a different room to change with a short paper gown. It was very unethical and uncomfortable for my daughter to be treated in such a rude manner.

Worst doctor ever!! Receptionist has nothing but attitude its actually disgusting! I've been waiting on results for my son for over 4 months now I have asked multiple times for them to be sent over to my family doctor and still nothing!!! I do not recommend anyone bring there children here worst cardiologist ever. Also tell ur Receptionist to learn RESPECT!!!

He told me my son had a heart condition, when I asked for measurements to compare to see if his condition improved, he told me he didn’t have any and that it was the same. Dr. Signal was discussing potential heart surgery if the condition didn’t improve. I decided to get a second opinion which turns out my son did not have a heart condition at all and the other doctor made it clear that if he had such condition it would not have resolved withtin 1 month. Scary as we discussed heart surgery for he future.Dr Singal used force wth my son and got angry fast when he was only 13months old. He had very little patience the day we saw him.I also received a call 8 months later to say we “missed our follow up appt” however when I went to book it there was no schedule available for a year ahead and they said they would call me to book. I never received any call until 8 Months after the fact that we were supposed to be there to say we had missed it. Which is absolutely ridiculous.

Extremely +++ long wait. Being bumped down 5x. They could have given me a later schedule instead of waiting too long. Do they understand people have also other things to do and not just waiting for them for one and a half hour. Poor management....

Worst paediatric cardiologist ever. In two years of dealing with him for my son we have spoken to him twice on the phone and have never met him. Takes days to contact them or receive any sort of response and 6 months for a follow up phone call after tests where done. My son’s symptoms where getting worse and after three days of trying to get ahold of them I was told to go to my family doctor because they had no time to see him. Terrible communication and treatment. I highly recommend never going to him. It’s a waist of your time.
