Central Turf is a Hunter distributor and I had a problem with a new pop-up head that was only two months old. It was installed by a professional installer, and I told the installer that instead of you coming out to my house to fix it, I would do it myself since it was simple to fix. I knew it had a two year warranty and a date code stamped on it. Hunter Industries told me that you just have to bring it to a distributor and they would replace it- no receipt needed. Well, I called Central Turf and was told it was there policy that you need a receipt. They would not work with me. So, I called another distributor, John Deere Landscapes, and they took it back with no questions asked. I have never done business with Central Turf and do not plan to. Since they won't work with me, I won't work with them.
