Canadian Tire

Clean store, easily found what I was looking for. Shocked to see that all cash registers were gone, all self checkout. But there were employees helping with the checkout & also scanning my purchases with a mobile scanner.

Absolutely will not go back here. We bought a battery for our car and it turned out defective with no charge. Went back to the store and they told us to book an appointment online, so we did. We came in for the appointment, they tested the battery and confirmed it was defective. However, in order to replace the battery, they needed to charge for labour.Shop manager said the alternative is for us to go home, take the battery out, come back to the store to swap the battery, and go back home to reinstall it. Absolutely ridiculous.I guess we should all sell defective batteries to get customers to come back and force them to pay for the labour to get it straightened out.Update - We called Customer Service and they gave us two options. 1) Store Credit, meaning they keep the money we already paid and forcing us to continue to give them our business. 2) Refund, however, the refund is not guaranteed as they will do an investigation on the incident. Just getting tossed around here..

Canadian tire in Surrey is not very good, I bought 2 chairs and the moment I tried to take them out of the car I noticed low quality, returned them the day after but the guy in customer service said we don't accept returns for chairs ! Neither on my bill nore on the area I pickedthe chair there was no notice about final sale, waste of money ! The Surrey branch near costco is disaster,never go there !!

The checkout lines and customer service are fast. The store may seem small, but they are usually well stocked. It would be nice if help can arrive faster. Having to wait 10 - 15 minutes for someone to come and grab a saw blade or drill bit from the locked cages in the back seems a bit wasteful of time.

My experience about this starts with difficulty in finding the location of the store. Although it is placed on King George boulevard the entry is from 76 avenue.I have never been to any Canadian tire earlier but the store feels cramped and congested.There are a lot of good products which are uniquely sold by Canadian tire at good rates. I ended up purchasing stuff worth 400$.But the low rating is due to the fact that their customer service is pathetic. I needed a product which was placed on the topmost shelf of the auto wall section. The first executive I asked told me to contact auto desk section. After I got hold of a girl from the auto section she saw the product and told me she will get a ladder. She never came back during the 40-44 min I spent there.Then there was another person whom I asked what's happening and he informed me that there was another guy who should have come back from break 25 min ago but has not.Skipping approx 30 min ahead I was still asking for someone to help me out. Finally the manager arrived with a ladder and I had to help him unload from the shelf.I didn't rant or anything but nobody even bothered to say sorry, thank you for your patience.If I had a choice of other store with same products I would definitely skip this one.

My husband and our babies favorite place to get stuffs. A fun place for the girls to look around checking out toys and back home with some snacks even me always had something back home too. Very clean and organized, easy to look for whatever we want. Even their website is easy to use for us. The staffs are always nice and helpful. Many things that my husband wanted always in good deal and cheaper than other places. Plus close to my place so convenient.

I fail to understand why the stores are so dingy and smelly in most locations.The selection of items is good enough to warrant a visit every now and then, but they need a big overhaul across all stores. Things like better organized aisles or adequate ventilation are a minimum standard in today's day and age. Not sure why Canadian Tire stubbornly refuses to play catch-up.

I got my car's alignment work done from here while the new tires were getting installed. The alignment work was so bad that my car kept going toward the right afterwards. I tried to call them several times, but wasn't able to talk to anyone. Emailed them and got a generic reply to deal with the store directly. Today I went to the store and told them about the bad alignment that was done 3 weeks ago, but was told that warranty is only 15 days ! My TPMS light also came on soon after despite correct tire pressure. I read many 1-star reviews but ignored them because I wanted to save time while I was getting my newly purchased tires installed. But in the end I did not save time. I should not have gotten alignment work done by them. Canadian Tire's automotive service department won't save you time nor money.

Worst staff ever..their is no one for customer assistance..i almost waited for 30-40 mins ..but no one was their. Never buy any electronic items from canadian tire…they don’t even exchange your bike after one day purchase..

Had a pretty quick and painless experience buying a set of Michelin X-Ice winter tires. The younger gentleman at the counter assisted me in loading them into my vehicle. Now I have assurance for this holiday season.
