Atelier Assembly

Atelier Assembly made me a fabulous custom hall bench (in Brazilian exotic wood) and custom cabinet for my remodeled bathroom (with frosted glass in walnut)! The cabinet doors swing open and closed like a Porsche. They helped me select the right color wood to match the style of the bathroom, no small feat. And the details were extremely precise. Installation was a breeze with them. They do all sorts of custom jobs. Highly recommended.

We had them build a shoe cabinet and custom desks. David was an amazing listener and very easy to work with. The end products are beautiful.

It is not a true wood working shop with specialized equipment to reproduce a piece but from I have seen it is more like a hobby shop

I'm furious. I received Chris' offer of service by email on Jan. 23. I accepted it with no negotiating on Jan. 25 and the work was supposed to be done in March. On March 9 I reached out to ask when the work would be done. Chris replied that he didn't see my email from Jan. 25 and that he was now booked into next Fall. I asked that, since it was his mistake, he consider me as having booked in Jan. He said no he wouldn't do that. No integrity!!!!!!!

If I could give Assembly more than 5 stars I would. I have hired Assembly for multiple custom projects for my business (restaurant banquettes, tables and benches) as well as for my home. Chris has taken my design ideas and fleshed them out on every occasion, bringing them to life with technical skill and know how. From initial drafts and 3d renderings to installation, communication has been excellent. Thanks Assembly!

I have had Chris and Atelier Assembly do projects for two of the places I've lived in and have always been completely satisfied and impressed by the quality of their craftsmanship. The Atelier Assembly team, led by Chris and Jon, did an amazing job with our custom built bookshelves. With patient communication and helpful suggestions, we worked together from an idea to a design. They modified their work schedule around a long delay for our condo. At the end, their attention to detail with the delivery and installation was exceptional; as well, their original estimate was accurate and the cost was fair. It was great working with them.We recommend them without hesitation.

Atelier Assembly did amazing work for us, building wall to wall, custom-designed built-in bookshelves. Their design suggestions were immensely helpful, paid close attention to the details of the room (preserving the original mouldings), and they even included build-in lights! Their craftsmanship is superb. They finished the entire project within the time frame promised, and were very accommodating to our schedule. We highly recommend Assembly, and would go with them for future work without hesitation!

I would recommend Atelier to anyone: We had them build some massive built-in bookshelves for us. The shelves are rock solid and beautiful to look at. They were great to work with. More details below.They came over, talked with us about what we wanted, came up with a couple different designs and consulted with us throughout. It was extra tricky because we needed them mounted on the wall, but without holes punched in the ceiling and floor (to protect sound insulation). They did a great job. The shelves are everything we could have asked for. Beautiful to look at, incredibly stable and well-built and they make very efficient use of the space. It's like they were always part of the apartment. L
