I rarely gave bad review but this one is too much. I thought this company was ok. So I recommended this to one of my friends that needed prescription glasses really badly. We uploaded two prescriptions (one for PC and other one for driving). We sent two frames with the instructions there, but when we got the frames back, those all are for computer.When we complained, they said we only attached one prescription which is for computer. And they said we need to pay another 144 dollars for replacing the computer lens with driving lens (which was their fault).We are disappointed and never want to ask them or even trust anymore. Not recommended. I would rather order from my country and ask my mom to send it here. It is cheaper and faster.

I have used Optically inc. three times. I enjoy finding my own frames and having optically supply the custom lenses. Every pair has been as good as if dispensed from an optician.

Prices are good. However, after hearing nothing from Optically for 5 weeks, I finally called. They said that my glasses are still overseas somewhere and that they should be delivered to Canada Post by the end of the week". So although they advertise glasses within 10 to 12 business days

Ordered glasses in early February and they were prescription sunglasses. We selected a brown lense and received a blue lense. Had to follow up as the delivery date was delayed. They took payment immediately as well. They notified us to tell that the reglaze cost was another $30 but there was no reglaze request on our part. They admitted that was an error and shipped the glasses to us about 4 weeks late. Then when we phoned to complain about the lense colour they said that frame only had blue. But the picture on line was in brown. They wanted the glasses back before they would refund and it would take 90 days. This is not Customer Service and so annoyed with this company. They should get the order correct from the start or please the Customer as it was their error. I will still continue to request a full refund and will not order again. Do not recommend this company based on this experience

Been 20 days and no update on glasses. I sent an email and no response. Called and the rep said they’ve been shipped by fedex but he doesn’t have the tracking number. He promised to get back to me in 24 hours with an update but nothing. I’m going to report a claim with my credit card company and cancel the payment and file a report with the fraud center. Should have checked the google ratings before ordering

Regret sending my frames here. Upon receipt, they advised that they take no responsibility if the frames break, and that I'll still be on the hook for the reglazing cost. Who would proceed where the company does not take any responsibility for their service and still charges despite breaking your glasses?Avoid this place, there's much better options out there. Especially considering they don't offer a drop box for local customers, might as well ship to another provider.I'm satisfied with the response, but two areas of feedback:1. Provide a drop box for local customers2. My frames were not old, I was able to remove the lenses myself and I'm the farthest thing from a lab tech. Other alternative is to not have used the inserts at all and only use the frame. This is now what I have opted for elsewhere. Any competent lab tech would have offered this option.

I had high hopes for my prescription sunglasses, which were not particularly cheap but in a style I liked. Unfortunately when the order arrived it was immediately obvious that no quality control had been performed - the plastic arms of the frames were badly cut, with jagged edges, and the frames were bent. I contacted customer service and they recommended returning them - at my expense - for assessment and a refund for just the frames. I'd still be a little out of pocket, but not a crazy amount. However when their lab had received them and agreed that the glasses were unsalvageable, they refused to honour a refund completely, and also flat out stated they couldn't remake the glasses for me. So I guess I'm out of pocket $200+, with no glasses, and having to fight my way up the customer service ladder to try and get a resolution. Very bad experience, especially as I've had no issue buying glasses online from other stores. Will absolutely not use again, they don't even adhere to their own Ts&C's!!*Edit: After posting this review, I was miraculously contacted by the Customer Service team. Emails and calls went unanswered, but a negative review prompted a response in less than a day. They offered me a refund (not including shipping) for the order that their own lab agreed was in an unacceptable condition and should never have been sent. They then casually mentioned that perhaps I'd consider taking my review down as I now had my refund. Priorities.** Second edit: Since approving the refund, I have been bombarded by calls and emails from the company asking me to take the review down. Apparently they don't want people knowing that you have to write a negative review in order to get service.*

I ordered a progressive prescription re-glaze from Optically mid January. I got my glasses back the third week of February. They were not usable. I am not new to progressive lenses having had several pairs for over 10 years.I contacted Optically and they agreed to re-do the lenses. I paid for shipping to Optically a second time. I received my glasses back at the end of March. They are better but by no means as good as my other progressive lensed glasses.I notified Optically about this and brought up the fact that I am out shipping costs 2X. They responded quickly and told me that they would re-do my glasses a third time but offered no solution to my shipping costs.The staff were polite, response times were reasonable and they tried to make the glasses right but I have no faith that they can do much better so I’m pulling the plug on further efforts.I have ordered progressive lenses on-line from other companies and had excellent results. I went with Optically because they are a Canadian company. My experience is disappointing and I simply couldn’t recommend Optically to make your next pair of glasses.
