HomeStep was recommended by my installer (Shift Energy Vancouver).Flynn was very friendly and thorough in explaining the process/science behind the testing procedure.I used them in 2022 to qualify for the Greener Homes Grant to have solar panels installed.The documentation provided was complete and not missing anything. Grant application successfully claimed with ease at project completion.

Used HomeStep for a Pre-Evaluation Energy report and they were great. They were able to accommodate my appointment immediately and the inspector was very professional and provided lots of helpful information during the inspection. I received my documentation within 2 weeks of the inspection.

Flynn and his staff were professional and excellent in providing the pre and post evaluations. Not only were the reports thorough but also the relevant information that was provided to complete the federal and provincial grant applications. Would highly recommend Homestep. Flynn and staff were also quick to respond to any questions we had (ie within a day) which was so appreciated.

The service rep came to perform tests and was very professional and efficient.Explained what was happening and improvements that could be made .The office again , very helpful and knowledgeable in explaining the process, and setting up appointments.Would highly recommend HomeStep to anybody performing these tests and would have them back myself

Had a very good experience with Flynn's help. We found him to be knowledgeable on many aspects of home construction as it relates to energy efficiency. He offered patient guidance and explained things in terms that were easy to understand. He provided many practical solutions and options on what can be done that were specific to the place. Even post-appointment he was helpful with our questions and clearly knew not only his field but also the nuances of the various gov't programs. I would not hesitate to use HomeStep's services again or recommend them to others.
