We recently had the pleasure of dining at this top Persian restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations.Not only was the food exceptional, but the presentation was also a work of art. Each dish was beautifully arranged, showcasing the chef Reza’s attention to details and culinary expertise. The portion sizes were super generous.In conclusion, this top Persian restaurant is a true gem. The delectable cuisine, warm hospitality, and inviting ambiance create an unforgettable experience for any food lover. I visited the place in a group of friends from Europe and the US (first time trying a Persian place). Here, I’m trying to reflect their opinion as well. We ordered platter 6 and a stew similar to Fesenjan but with bbq chenje (tikka) meat. We had mast moosir (shallot yogurt), zeytoon parvardeh (marinated olives), kashk bademjan (an eggplant dish) and baba ganoush as appetizers. I rate this place as 5 stars but with some considerations. Firstly, it was a nice well-decorated neat place. The staff was nice and helpful. The food presentation was phenomenal and somehow exciting. Starting from appetizers, we liked kashk bademjan (excellent) and shallot yogurt but the marinated olives were a little salty for us. Also, there was room for baba ganosh improvement. Platter 6 included lamb chop (excellent), rolled bbq chicken and veal’s meat (excellent), bbq chicken with bone (very good) and koobideh kebob which was good but not the best. We loved the variety of pickles and bbq veggies came with platter 6. BTW, platter 6 with rice is sufficient for 4-6 people, we believe. The stew was creative and delicious (but make sure you like pomegranate paste). We paid $360 for 5 people including tip but considering the portions and food quality, I believe, it was totally worth it. Overall, I do recommend this place and I will go back.

I recently visited Chef Reza in Richmond Hill and ordered several dishes, including the Vaziri and Kashke Bademjoon. While the food was decent, the service was not up to par.Despite being the only customer in the restaurant, I had to ask multiple times for a glass of water and waited a long time for it to arrive. This made me feel unwelcome and frustrated. Although the interior was nicely decorated and had a pleasant atmosphere, the poor service overshadowed the ambiance.On the positive side, the Vaziri was the standout dish, marinated very well, and cooked to perfection. However, the addition of butter to the kababs at the end made the rice on the kebabs' sides unevenly distributed greasy. The koobideh was also decent, though not as impressive as the Jooje. The Kashke Bademjoon was good and served with fresh-baked nan, which added a homemade touch to the experience.Overall, I had mixed feelings about Chef Reza in Richmond Hill. While the food was decent, the lacklustre service took away from the overall experience. I'm undecided about whether I would visit this restaurant again in the future.

It was a good experience. Live music is nice, if I was without a toddler I would stay longer and enjoy the music. Charge for music I understand. With less than hr of music though kinda hurts lol. Anyway I like the experience, food is nice, though I would say quality could be better. (Meats aside from the lamb chop, not to sure what’s the grade of the others). Service was alright. My first Persian food is a good start. Would love to go again. Though, the booking for reservations was hell for this restaurant took a whole week to get it right. But I’m glad I didn’t give up.

Overall food was fine, it wasn't the best Persian food I've had. The rack of lamb was very good! Restaurant has good live entertainment, but it is loud and difficult to hold a conversation with your table guests. The waiters have ear pieces, which gives a hint as to how loud it gets.Presentation of the food is really grandiose and appealing to the eye with fire and dry ice, but takes up a lot of real estate of the table because the food comes out on a large wooden plank. If there's an odd number of guest with one sitting at the table end, it gets very cramped.Staff are always touching base as to how everything is which was nice.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food is hands down the best! We went there for a family dinner and we ordered platter #6. The wood was amazing and so delicious! The vibe was awesome with live music! Our Servers Pariya and Leila were amazing! They were so polite and nice and constantly making sure we are having a great time. Definitely recommend!
