Inappropriate actions on part of the owner toward staff and customers. Was very put off by the interaction with the staff and don’t think that the store has the ability to afford proper respect towards customers, staff, and members of the community in the Alliston area to garner business and profits from the neighbourhood. I was very dissatisfied to hear about the way that staff are treated at this store afterwards. Customers should be cognizant of who the business owners are and their character before deciding to shop here.

Today I dropped off 4 pairs of skates at approx 11am.. I was in no rush at the time so I said I would return. To no one’s fault but my own I miss read the closing time. I assumed on Sunday they were open till 7. When I returned at 4:30 they were closed, as the sign clearly stated Sunday closed at 4pm. Knowing we had to be on the ice at 5:30 I called the number online.. the gentleman answered the phone and told me the store was closed at 4pm and he was already home with his family. This being said he wasted no time and agreed to meet me back at the store so I can pick up my skates. Not only did he come back to my rescue he found out one pair had not been sharpened yet. So he grabbed the skates and sharpened them right on the spot. This is next level service and he deserves to be recognized for his hard work and dedication to his business. I am truly grateful for your kindness and willingness to do whatever you can to help others including myself and my family. If I could give this business 0 I would , as a local boy of Alliston my family and I have used Replay sports for many years dating back to the Alliston Sports days . Today I took my 13 year old son to get a pair of used skates as he has started to show interest in learning , My son suffers from anxiety and ADHD , he couldn’t comprehend what the owner (Ryan Boulton) was asking of him while sizing his foot , , he asked my son put weight on his foot , my son’s response was I am , this guy gets up and says I can help you sir and walks away leaving us standing there . Took a minute to take what happened in, and walked to the back of the store where I hear this guy (Ryan) bragging to a kid sharpening skates at what just happened , at that point I voiced my displeasure about what happened , some pleasantries were spoken and I was asked to leave the store . My apologies to anyone that got offended by my displeasure.

My 13 year old son will ADHD and anxiety went there with his father the other day to get skates so he can learn. Was treated very rudely because apparently he was putting weight down on his foot. The owner refused to help him after, went in the back and very loudly said to an employee that’s how you deal with unruly customers. So needless to say it took a lot of talking to my son. And thank you to the owner because now my son doesn’t want to learn skating anymore!! Maybe you shouldn’t be rude! Disabilities are not always seen!!Sincerely,A very upset mother!!Reply—. So because you say and think my husband is a bully from 30 + years ago, you couldn’t help my son with getting skates fitted?

Ryan has an excuse for everyone who submits a negative review. His response is always a disgruntled employee is behind the negative comments or he resorts to personal attacks which have nothing to do with the situation at hand. I have experienced this first hand. He made personal remarks about my kids and their lack of ambition and he doesn’t know one of them. Yet Ryan cannot string a proper sentence together. Him and his partner threaten to get their Lawyer involved if we write a review with the whole truth.That environment is an interminable mess. Employees are not respected and are screamed at and any women/girls who work there or enter the store as a customer, please beware because Ryan and his father have resorted to extremely inappropriate behaviour.This place should be rated as less than zero.

We have been going to Boultons for nearly 10 years now. I trust them to fit my son properly, and respect their opinion. Recently we bought a new pair of skates and with the heat from the molding he didn't notice the one skate was too narrow. 3 minutes on the ice it was painfully clear there was a problem. Boultons took those skates and customized the skates to my sons wide foot and he is extremely comfortable now and ready for the year!

Nolan made our Great grandsons first hockey equipment purchase so much fun. He asked him what colour he wanted when picking out his equipment. Thank you Nolan and Boultons Replay sports! An excellent place to shop

Call for directions cause numbers of building jumps from 36 to 54. And the person on the phone was to busy to tell me. His words were on 40 Victoria on the north side. Sorry but I'm busy. I have a skate to sharpen. ""

Kudos to Ryan on how they handled my recent purchase of a new pair of CCM Tacks AS580's men's senior skates. These skates were heat-molded (baked) to my foot, but after trying them out on the ice it was clear one skate was a bit too narrow. Ryan put them in a special boot stretching machine overnight and that did the trick. I also came back a 2nd time to have a small pressure point in my ankle area fixed. These are now the best-fitting pair of skates I've ever had. This is why it's so good to deal with a local store like Boulton's who specialize in skates and hockey gear. They work really hard to make sure it's right.
