We took our 3 Yr Old today and had a great experience. Alphonso was amazing with our kid; singing, dancing and really making our daughter laugh while she was getting her hair done. Everyone was very kind and we enjoyed our time. We will be back 100%

If you are not black then never go here. They doesn’t know how to cut any hair or give any hair style other than of a black person. Ruined my beard because he trimmed it without asking and showed him a style but instead gave me what he felt like giving me. Bad experience

First time bringing my family to a real barber shop. The barber was fantastic with my kids (5 and 8) and made the cut enjoyable for them. All of our cuts were great and we will definitely be coming here for our hair cuts from now on. 5 stars for our barber Alphonso.

Taya was amazing.From the hairstyling to how receptive she was, she was a 10/10. My locs were matted completely after free forming and she took her time to separate and interlock them for me I’m very grateful for this salon and will definitely be returning ! :)

Ive been coming here for years and also witnessed the last customer here who said this business is filled with scammers and unfortunately the guy just had no intentions on paying from the beginning of his service. People like that is what tears apart our community and ruins great things we have in life. New York North is one of the BEST barbershops that has been around for so much years. It was built off love, quality, and great people and thats why this business will always thrive despite jealous malicious haters.
