Our go to convenience store. A taste of the Philippines, whether you are Filipino or not, there are lots of frozen and goodies that’s affordable.The owner is very helpful and friendly.

My new go-to grocery for a taste of PHLThey have picnic perfect snacks for the summer (I.e. coconut water in can, prepackaged pastries and savory chichacorn) or comfort food for fall (I.e. Pampanga chicken tocino, a wide selection of longganisa, tapa for silogs) and they even offer special freshly cooked snacksBeen a while since I had karioka since I arrived in BC. And the team makes you feel like you're back homeKeep it up, guys!

Must go to Filipino grocery in the Tri-Cities area. It might look small on the outside but it is stocked very well with all sorts of Filipino favourites. Owners ans/or people there are chill.

Small filipino store compared to other ones. Doesn't have a lot of options but they have more of what you need for essential filipino cooking like noodles, sweet filipino spaghetti sauce, etc. I believe they also have a remittance where you can send money to your family in the philippines.

This is my go to when I was living in PoCo and still is today even if i cross the bridge at the ridge. The owner is so friendly. The prices are fair and most of the filipino must haves are there.

I stopped using this store to send money since I had an incident 3 yrs back. I was sending $2k+ and I counted it multiple times prior to giving the money to the cashier. He counted put it inside the drawer and asked me for $30. Kulang"

My go to Filipino store. From frozen Filipino food to freshly baked sans rival bites. They also have money remittance services.

I will never go this store again! I went there to make send money to a family member in Colombia who needed it for her cancer treatment. She couldn't get the money because not only her name was misspelled, but the money was transferred to Cambodia not Colombia.I went to the store again to fix the situation and the lady told me that her system didn't allow her to make those changes, and that she had to ask for a refund to her supervisor, she talked to someone on the phone but she said I had to wait for a response. I told her I was in a rush since my cousin really needed the money and she suggested me to go to another office. I went to the Money Mart in Shaughnessy and they made the changes and sent the money to the right location. That same afternoon, I received a call from the lady from the Masagana Store telling me she was going to make a refund. I went there and I explained to her (twice) that I went to another location and that they were able to send the money to Colombia but she insisted Western Union was going to refund her and that I should take the money.I want to make clear, the only reason I took the money was because I don't know how Western Union's system works and I was afraid they will cancel the other transaction since she said they were refunding that location.I received a call from that lady today insulting me, calling me a thief, telling me she was calling the police on me because I accepted the refund. I have to tell her several times to let me talk" because all she was doing was to yell on the phone. I told her I had the intention to return the money

WARNING: DO NOT USE THE SERVICES OF EASY PADALA. NOT RELIABLE. I have a recent and ongoing issue with significant amount that I use Easy Padala to transmit. Small amounts is ok to get to the Bank (Bank De ORO) , 24 hours, but there is something fishy with the significant transmission because it is taking 72 hours. I was informed that due to BDO policy, RELEASE takes that long. By the way, this is not true, we checked with the bank. I asked with clarity if the money is transmitted to BDO in 24 hours. Release is a different issue. Enicris, owner of the store, told me YES, the money is transmitted and will be with BDO in 24 hours. Release is 3 days. All I need to know is for the money transmitted to BDO, as a proof that it is there. I was as assured by Enicris, deposit of money is BDO in 24 hours. NO, there is no transmitted money. It is now 72 hours. My Philippine legal contact checked with BDO head office manager and the local bank officials on the transmission. I was told by Enicris that the bank will not devulge the information. She is wrong. The bank tells us, that if there is a transmission, and the money is there, they will confirm. Makes me wonder if they with hold the money for other purposes for the delay in transmitting. BEWARE. I WILL NOT USE THEIR SERVICES AGAIN, EVER. I HOPE YOU DO THE SAME THING. WHY I USED THEM, I DID NOT KNOW ANY BETTER AND I TRUSTED WRONG. I LEARNED. IF THE OWNER TELLS ANYTHING DIFFERENT FROM MY STATEMENT, SHE IS LYING TO HER TEETH.
