We were here for the Easter Saturday lunch - all 11 of us. Nice dine-in place. Feels like you’re in a family setting. The decor is neat and eclectic options to choose in the menu.The food was a bit spicy for most of us but I liked it. I liked the punch I felt that hit close to home. We all had a good time here that day.Fresh edibles. Reasonable prices. Tasty lunch. Staff was friendly. They didn’t take much time to serve us which is great. Keep up the great work.

Conveniently located in Hespeler road, this place is spacious and has a great ambience. We tried the beef rare and trite pho and red Thai curry. Both were delicious and quantity was reasonable. The plaza has enough parking spots and its usually fully parked between 6 and 7 pm.

It's deceiving how big the portions are compared to other restaurants. Make sure you know how much you're ordering so you don't feel nauseous.

Great food. Service was excellent. Make sure to ask about their dim sum menu. They don't give it to you automatically but it's there. We always get dinsum heat and enjoy it quite a bit. Will certainly be coming back.

Ben Thanh Viet Thai RestaurantA Review by Hassan HawashA Great Tasty Flavourful MealWe were initiated to this fine family dining establishment by way of tucking into my missus’ luncheon leftover takeaway of Tom Yom Soup, red shrimp curry and a salad not too too long ago and were pretty well hooked from that time.We finally decided on a time to experience this establishment’s culinary delights in a dine in setting. Upon stepping through the reception, where we were greeted by our Vietnamese host, there was that evocative aroma, the ever so reminiscent trademark scent, with strong aromatic components wafting from the kitchen oh so typical of Thai restaurants I found myself at in the land of smiles.Soon after being seen to our table, we were presented with our menus and order forms. Our young son, 10, enjoyed the activity of filling in the order form taking stock of the choices we made after a very thorough look at all the tempting offerings on the menu. Nice little feature to fill in our own menu, but at this dine in experience the prices were listed.One order of Tom Yom Soup, a pretty close match to dining in Asia, was good for the three of us. We also shared the papya salad which was a little spicy, but just enough to tingle your lips. Shrimp Pad Thai and a vegetable tofu dish rounded out our choices.On all accounts, our choices did not disappoint, left us raving about our deliciously tasty mini buffet and again reminded us of our visits to Thailand. The serving sizes are so generous we had takeaway for a meal the next day.

Perfect service on every single visit.We've been enjoying their multiple delicious options in the menu over the years, and the quality and presentation has never been less than top notch.Ben Thanh has taught my family how to enjoy healthy soups in different presentations, bubble tea flavors, perfect stir fry dish varieties, jasmine tea as the perfect warm up in winter time, etc etc.It became part of our family going out traditions and boy...they serve with care and excellent quality. We were starving so we ordered 2 pho and lamb skewer. But depite the fact we were starving, we couldnt finish our orders. They have no sriracha sauce at all not even similar ones and also they r not using proper hoisin sauce(dark brown sauce) either. The lamb skewer was terrible. It was not grilled. It was boiled lamb meat in skewer. It was so tough zero juicyness.Most important part of all is pho. Pho soup was full of MSG, u can just taste all that in ur throat. I do not understand how they have such a high ratings. Everything was fake. I can see all their milkshakes and all are from powder. U can simply see them all behind the bar anyways. Terrible terrible

Take out and dine in options are great! I may have over ordered but this delicious, large variety, meal for 6 people cost about $200. We also had left overs for two days. Well worth the value. Must try, their menu is very long and has so many great picks.

This is the second time I ate here. We ordered different dishes and they are just as wonderful. The servings are big and I would order a few dishes and share with everyone.

We have been going to Ben Thanh in this Cambridge location for years. The quality and service are excellent. We also love the option of getting Chinese Dim Sum items during the opening hours. The shrimp dumplings (Har-Gau) are large and delicious. Although the selections of the Dim Sum have been scaled down since pandemic, but the quality of the food is always good and consistent. The Vietnamese items are also wonderfully prepared. I liked the Bubble Tea there and would love to try all of them. Will highly recommend this restaurant!
