Talked with a lady named Dianna about maintenance up keep and she was very knowledgeable.

Just got a job offer from this company earlier today and they offered me 17$ per hour :) I wonder if this sweatshop makes people work until they die and make a profit from their funeral as well.

Expensive but necessary, often misunderstood but overall quality is present, both in products and services.Unfortunately like many purchases made throughout a life time this is one that no one wants to make but must do so at certain times in life. The heightened nature of many families and the grief they feel can lead to negative sour feelings. Overall I am very happy with the services and products provided.

Matthew and the team at Burlington Memorial Gardens have been very supportive and always professional. The grounds at the Memorial Gardens are always well maintained and such a peaceful place to visit. Thank you

My father passed away recently and the director herself was amazing. We paid for his cremation,up front about voided will even provided it however someone who had come forward with a photocopy of a voided will was given access as a executor. The manager who took over because other parties didnt like her was unprofessional and kept asking us to do things to prove as we did but after repeatedly saying they wouldnt release his ashes without proper court documents which we agreed to. Then emailed saying the legal department deemed these people as executors even though they didnt have possession of original will that was not validated because the courts deemed it void. But what happened next emailed from the manager blackmailing us saying they would agree to release his ashes to us if we agreed to not fight this illegal will. Add insult to our pain also emailed us again saying that they were sending that same message from other parties. We begged and pleaded not to release his ashes with this photocopy of voided document and that we had a to wait a few days for lawyers appt as well as court estate clerk to return to please email them but no was asked for a court officer to stamp this voided will. They cant stamp it because its void. Fast forward so now we have paid for his cremation and get nothing but a email saying will we allow you to keep death benefit applied for because you paid for cremation but they get ashes. They will be releasing the documents to them as well, excuse me you engaged in a contract with us in confidentiality agreement all identification and such provided to you was under those terms. Also the email sent by manager to me address to someone else about beer and wings and how she kept him in the blind over this because we didnt agree that it gave her so much drama she didn't need a tv. The sad part even when we begged for them to require the same from the other parties that they were requiring from his biological children and wife. They wouldn't even. We asked for their lawyer's to contact us and she responded for them. So you made his children beg after spending days watching him die in a traumatic way, took away our legal right, then part take in documented blackmail to cover up releasing my father on a photocopy that if had they checked properly would have found it wasnt legal seeing as I have the original. would hope that this manager loses her job for incompetent behavior because no apology could ever make up for what she did to our family. No court stamp, no lawyer information not legally filed not original and not even my dads legal name. Shameful we paid money, degrated, blackmailed and walk away with nothing But it documented daily through emails. Pure negligence

Not surprised to see all other's views after my own experiences. Unethical policy, cold hearted sales rep, rude manager intimidating you when you have requested something. I was so surprised by such unprofessional behaviors. The customer service at head office is ignoring your complain or concerns, only to picking out if you made any error. I made error because of their incomprehensive numbering system. Cold hearted people working in a wrong profession.

Dealt with Arbor/Evergreen in Edmonton for my brothers funeral. We were disappointed with the organization and the funeral director assigned to us. Brought up some concerns after and sounds like the funeral director assigned was newer and already had various complaints. They told us that there was nothing more they could do and sent a sorry letter. Mentioned it won’t seem as bad once we’ve “moved on”. Leaving this review at head office to ensure they’re aware of the limited complaint resolution help from the local facility here in Edmonton. No one wants to deal with a funeral but whenever the next one is for the family I guarantee it won’t be through Arbor/Evergreen in Edmonton. I’ve also had a few people know we had a funeral that lost loved ones and I’ve made sure they’ve gone elsewhere for their funeral needs.

We order monument for our Mother on June 12, 2021. We signed contract and paid required 50% up front for the monument. We have been told that it will be ready in 3 months but we received email on April 3rd 2022 for proof reading, which was signed and send bank next day. There was no delay from our side, we kept calling for up date after that and every thing was blamed to Covid situation, but we notice and see some monument after us were maid and mounted. We visit the office about two month ago for reminder and paid them rest 50% with out demand just to make sure there shouldn't be delay because of payment. its has been more than one year with no result. Their action is not responsible and they are careless with people's sentimental. I don't know how they are in this service business with this carelessness.

Not sure about the rest of their services but the on line live video feed for recent memorial service for my Aunt that passed away was a complete failure for us. We tried logging on from Australia. The information forwarded in advance on how to log in was inaccurate, the video link didn't work, there was no way to get help/service so we missed it. Apparently the whole thing was running significantly late but there was no way for people logging on to know this. This is analogous to the photographer for your wedding forgetting to put film in their camera. If it doesn't work well it isn't like you can do it again next week. Very frustrating and very very disappointing.

Sara Nyberg at Arbor Memorial in Scarborough, was a compassionate, gentle pro throughout our entire experience. She took care of every detail during this difficult time for my family. She seamlessly accommodated us when twice as many people than we expected, showed up to pay their respects at my father's memorial. It couldn't have gone smoother. We appreciate all that she did.
