The Queens Hotel
Food is tasty, especially the ribs (the sauce was something!). Burger was good too. Service was slow though and everything was cold. Portions are bit small. Bbq plate is supposed to feed 2 to 3 people - it's more likely 2 :( and prices inline with similar pubs in the area. Overall an average experience.

Four high school buddies who quite enjoyed the band Friday June 16th!Our waitress, Jen, was wonderful! Very sweet and very attentive and friendly and just a great waitress!

June 4th, 2023 in the late afternoon my brother and I attended this establishment. We both ordered a beer to start. Upon the arrival of our beverage I was served a dirty glass to which I attempted to clean with my sanitizer to no avail (Health and Safety issue). I then approached the server and quietly away from other patrons and requested a new glass as I was unsuccessful in cleaning it myself. The sever took my glass and indeed came back with a cleaner glass with an explanation and apology as ( it took just over a half an hour for me to receive a consumable beverage) and I then requested a coaster as all the other patrons around us received one with the exception of my brother and I.We received our food ate our bruschetta bread and finished our drinks. When the server came back to check on us and asked if we wanted another a drink, I took the opportunity to kindly say “no thank just the bill, I am getting a little cold” she then offer us another table with more sun to which we politely declined, and said “just the bill.”It took so long and than we continued to observe our server checking out two other tables and continued taking another order at the table next to us that lead me to call the manager while still seated at my table. When the manager Mark came out I was shocked that he did not present in a professional manner as he still had sleep in his eyes and look as if he just rolled out of bed. There was no apology offered from the manager, furthermore he left and my brother and I sat at the table as I requested Id like to pay so we can leave the establishment as I had been attempting to pay the bill to no avail. The manager left the table and the server returned with the debit machine for a second time where we were finally able to pay and proceed with our day.This was a very disappointing experience as I have not ever had this type of experience at this establishment prior to today.Since this place has been sold and is under new management the service and vibe is all wrong! Everyone looked lost and hungover, with poor customer service.It was unsanitary and uncleaned. I was actually embarrassed for the staff and owner.Side Note: The “new owner” was in Parry Sound.In order for a business to thrive as this one once did in the heart of downtown Barrie you need to be invested. It appeared that everyone associated with established wants to get paid to play hard and workless! That comes from top down.One Seriously Disappointed Patron!!

Pretty lively on a saturday night! There was live music happening, we sat at the heated patio since there was no space inside and watched the live match instead.

Service was bad. We asked for water and it had a taste of chlorine. We asked if they can change it she said that's all we have" and being rude all the time at first she threw coasters on the table. We had lunch

Absolutely worst service I have ever had in my life. Heard so many people rave about it so chose to check it, big mistake.Came with a girlfriend last night, take in there was one other table on the patio when we came in, not busy. We were “seated” by the waitress (who told us to just sit anywhere, meanwhile 80% of the tables were dirty) But okay, maybe she just had a rush, we managed to find a clean table. She brought us menus and walked away. 5 minutes go by and we try to get her attention, but she’s standing in the corner talking to another worker, pretending to wipe the gate? like girl you have tables to clean but anyways. We still decide to wait patiently. Another five minutes go by, nothing. A group of 5 walks in. She promptly seats them, walking past us to seat them, still completely ignoring us. We keep trying to get her attention. We’ve been sitting there 15 minutes now. But the last straw was when she walked right past us again, and asked them if they wanted any drinks to start. We got up, told her we were clearly there for much longer than they were, which is rule number one in serving, and walked out. Never again. Never got her name, since we were ignored the whole time there, but she was a blonde girl.

QUEENS IS MY DAWG.I had bottle service the whole weekend and I couldn’t have had a better time here. The girls were AMAZING and took care of me the whole night. The management handled altercations VERY swiftly. Security I love you.GOING BACK ASAP.Highly recommend.

A nice place to hang out in warmer season. The service was excellent, friendly waitress.Unfortunately the food was so so. I ordered fis and chips. Haven't tried other menus though. The price is fair.

A great place to visit for a wild night out!!! Like the wild wild west! All ages and shapes and sizes!! Wierd and not so wierd!!
