Children's After Hours Clinic
After going to the sick kids two times we decided to try this after hours. We were treated very well and had a diagnosis within 10 minutes of seeing a doctor. We will be using this after hours in the future as the doctor listen to our issued and was able to treat our son efficiently.

DO NOT COME HERE. We were just here for a child with a high fever (40.9 C).1. Receptionist was super rude to my wife, and every. single. other. person. there.2. The Dr. that saw us did not take our child's temperature.3. The Dr. that saw us did not look at our child's throat.4. The Dr. was uncaring, discussing our child like she was a dog, forced her to take off most of her clothes and sit there shivering and upset, just to listen to her chest. Our usual Dr. can simply lift up her shirt.5. Prescription written for cough medication. Did she have a cough? NOPE.6. Diagnosis? RSV. Was it RSV? NOPE!! Today our regular Doctor discovered our child has Strep. NOT RSV.7. The other (roughly 8) parents who were there all had bad experiences. All of them left upset. Another parent who was simply there at the pharmacy stated she also had a horrible experience with this clinic and will not return. She recommended another for us to use. This doesn't feel like an organization that gives a ****, instead they prey on desperate parents who feel they have no options left. Please, save yourself and your child the effort and just go somewhere else.

Zero stars if I could the amount of times that one doctor, he has almost killed. My child is ridiculous. I can’t deal with the fact that they don’t ever fix issues when they arise. If so, many people have the same complaint about the same doctor why is he still working there? I’m going to escalate my complaints further and I also want him to be held responsible for his actions.

The other reviews are correct. Do NOT come here. The receptionist is incredibly rude and said “I hope he doesn’t die” when I described my child’s symptoms. Having been here at least a couple of times, I’d rather go further away for better care than come back.

Trust me when I say that this place is an absolute waste of time and such a disgrace. I ended up in emergency with my child hours after coming here. The doctor (dr Garfield?) actually told me word for word that he “he doesn’t know how to take a temperature”. He stood at the door and asked me about three questions and sent me on my way with no help offered. It’s such a shame our healthcare system has come to this.

It has taken me 7 months to write this review because I have tried to forget this experience. We will never return to this clinic. We took our toddler here late one evening when he was quite ill (fever, laboured breathing, lethargic). The doctor we saw said he had classic RSV symptoms that most likely had already progressed to bronchiolitis. He said we should go home and monitor him until he turned blue. The doctor also said he was by far the sickest kid he'd seen that day. No red flags there? No cautious advice that we head to an ER immediately? We believed in his experience and trusted his advice. The next morning the situation was unchanged, so we went to an ER for a second opinion. At triage, the nurse said our toddler's blood oxygen was dangerously low and he needed to be seen urgently - we were given a room immediately. X-rays determined he had severe pneumonia in both lungs and had to be given antibiotics, fluids, and go on oxygen to avoid potential brain damage. We stayed in hospital for 3 days and full recovery was much longer than that. RSV was completely ruled out during his stay.I was going to write to the clinic with this experience privately as I understand errors in judgement happen, however, given the similar reviews from others I decided to make this public.

Wish there was a no star thing the worst experience I have had . Firstly the receptionist is a racist . I dont know about all the doctor but the white doctor that i have shown my daughter was horrible . No help at all . If you are white the place is just for you ither than that be get ready to be treated badly .

I would give this facility zero stars if I could. Extremely rude and insensitive lady at the reception who should clearly be sacked and who isn't trained to deal with little children and their anxious parents. The doctor is old-school and does not care either and brushes everything off as minor and is not bothered about diagnosing the issue. We ended up taking our child to another after-hours clinic (Kidcrew) where we had such a pleasant experience.

I went with my teenage daughter on a Sunday, the receptionist was efficient and the waiting time about 40 minutes until we get into one of the rooms. Besides checking the stomach the doctor asked questions that may influence the patient without being strictly physical, like if she was anxious about semester exams, etc. Didn't get the name of tue doctor but she was considerate and respectful. Of course they can't do X-Rays or ultrasound or blood tests, but if you go to a walk-in clinic you can't expect that, just discard something serious that would require hospitalization or a visit to a pediatrician office.

I would personally give 0 stars. This was my first time coming to this clinic and i for sure wont be coming back. The receptionist herself was rude, and just talked over me the entire time. Once we saw the doctor, he hardly even entered the room. I understand this walk in clinic can get busy, but this was very unprofessional and unorganized and other parents who were before me felt the exact same way.
