Great place for the price. Not sure why people are complaining, but I’ve only seen polite employees when I go to the lobby. They’re humans just like you and I. The morning clerk always held a room for me because I had trouble getting a seat for a plane up north. I’ll be back for sure. Good day my guy if ya see this! I found the service excellent and the staff helpful and polite. The room was just the right size for one and comfortable. Mohit at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. It impressed me he remembered my name. Very pleasant and friendly young man. A credit to your high hiring standards. He should be commended for his professionalism.

I personally never stayed at this hotel. The first time I went into this hotel is when I went to go and see my uncle. Is his queen bedroom. The rooms were okay, fairly small.

Would definitely not recommend this place. Even for an advertised 2 star hotel it falls way short. Room was incredibly dirty, used towels were replaced with dirty ones, sink has mold showing, the air conditioner would not stay running long enough to cool the room, you can hear other guests clear as day which is incredibly annoying when they shower or yell at 2am.

The only thing good about this hotel is the upgraded rooms, they're nice and thats about the only thing. The manager Kaitlin is very rude and seems to be racist, I called her out on it and she's very unprofessional when she's called out, when I thought mine and her conversation was done she proceeded to come out of her office and explain to me that she was married to the nice Indian gentleman behind the desk, who was very nice might I add. After she yelled at him to leave the desk for answering my questions, she then pulled out her phone to show me her biracial children, in my opinion thats not professional at all!.. On top of all this, they tried to keep my security deposit after I checked out EARLY (by my own choice, then she tried to say she asked me to leave), I didn't notice til abit later but went back and got the other 250$ I was owed!

We had a great stay at The Econo Lodge in Thunder Bay. The room was one that had just been redone I believe it was the demo room. It was so nice and bright ! The bed was very comfortable! The only thing that we didn’t like was there was no fridge but we only needed it for a few cold pops anyways so it wasn’t that big I’d deal. The Front desk service was amazing from all shifts. The morning staff member when we called was so helpful, the staff member that was there in the afternoon when we got there was amazing, they helped in anyway they could !The location is great it’s close to a lot of food and stuff so that’s great if you don’t know the area and don’t want to travel to far from where you are starting to grab a bite to eat. The housekeeping staff was also soooooo friendly! Having a pleasant conversation with one of the housekeepers this morning made it feel very homey. The breakfast had a-lot to choose from ( cereals, hot foods, muffins etc)I’d recommend stayed here if you are passing through! 10/10

Awesome motel. Staff are so friendly & the rooms are so clean. Staff go out of their way to make your stay feel comfortable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Upon first glance, outside of hotel looks run down and outdated. If you are traveling through, its a bit out of the way from the highway. Rooms are basic, but very clean. Continental breakfast is limited, but good. Overall a good place to stay.

Bed bugs were found, they stole my electric toothbrush, have the worst customer service, making up lies and acting like a dangerous scenario is happening when you ask a question they don't like. Absolutely the worst place to stay by far. Do not stay here for your own sake.
