Went in to get 1954 dollar bills appraised. The guy behind the counter was very rude and offered the value of the bill only. Definitely not worth going there! Be cautious and get a qualified buyer!

Located in the west end of Ottawa (Nepean), you will find one of the best coin stores in the city.This store has a long reputation for carrying a large selection of Canadian collectables for Numismatic delight. Store also carries foreign coins and paper money in addition to estate items, militaria, jewelry, and unique items.Certainly not a shop to miss visiting. It will become a favourite to see regularly.Staff are always happy to share information and suggestions to find everything you're looking to buy.

I just wanted to write a brief review after my recent experience visiting Ashbrook Collectibles. I had a family military collection that I wanted appraised and was somewhat hesitant in bringing in a collection that my father had carefully treasured for many years. I did a little research before brining my items in but still did not know the true value of the collection besides the sentimental value.Casey was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about digging into the history of the artifacts that I brought in. I felt very comfortable with the information and the value that was presented to me after the research that he put into this.I would definitely recommend Ashbrook Collectibles and Casey to anyone trying to value a family collection of treasured items that are hard to part with.Thank you Casey for your time and professionalism!Tom

Always try to stop by when I'm in Ottawa. Friendly owners who know a lot about what they have. Good selection of coins and banknotes, along with some interesting militaria, all for reasonable prices. Will continue to visit when I get the opportunity.

Great customer service, was in a couple weeks ago, was offered a great price for the silver I was selling. The man behind the counter was very pleasant and had lots of information about everything in the store. Definitely going back soon!

Small business, owner operated. Casey is very knowledgeable about everything in his shop and will be glad to appraise coin values and buy yours in store for a fair price. His wife seems to run the business side and bullion buy/sell. I understand how some reviewers might feel they were curt, but it’s more that they are very busy on most of my visits, so if you want some personalized time to talk - make an appt. especially if you are “just looking and not buying” as they do have rent to pay.

Can't be more happier with my experience at Ashbrook Collectibles. Booked an appointment to have my coin collection evaluated and Dana ,who took care of me, was awesome. She was extremely knowledgeable on coins and gave me a complete breakdown on it. Very happy with her offer and I accepted it on the spot. Definitely recommend Ashbrook Collectibles!

Just back from AshBrook Collectibles. I met with Casey to review my old coins. After dumping my vacation change" on the desk

Totally rude service from beginning, indicating that he doesn't have time to even talk. Told me straight up that he was and would be busy and to make appointment. Made me feel like i should not have entered his premises. Will find other place.
