Tecnic Driving School Côte-des-Neiges

Went there to buy their services. The receptionist was talking on a cell phone and didn't even make eye contact. I sat down to wait for her to finish her call and then another client came in. She promptly served the client while ignoring me sitting there. When I got up to flag to her that I had been waiting for 10 minutes, she replied very sarcastically that she was on the phone with the owner. I told her that was not the point and she was really rude. I told her never mind that I would take my business elsewhere. She said literally good for you!I hope the owner sees this review because reception staff are the front line of your business. I was intending on spending somewhere around 1000$ at this place but with service that disrespectful I am heading downtown to the CAA driving school instead. Good luck getting any business with staff that are rude and condescending.

Impossible to book a meeting, it takes months in between classes for your next class. Plus the staff straight up lies about the availability of classes since if you press them, they will book a class even after saying that there wasn't any availability. Also the secretary said that the reason no one was answering the phone was simply because they didn't want to. It turns out that the they" was her."

Very very bad customer service. Had to personally deal with the manager, Zak Hassani, in order to be able to only book 3 classes. Staff are chilling on their phone, vaping in the lobby, doing anything but answering your call. I sincerely DON’T recommend you doing business with Tecnic at all. Please avoid this driving school at all cost unless you want to get your driver’s license by the time you are 65 yo.

Ive had an extremely positive experience with the in class theory sessions with the teacher Zak. He is very knowledgeable and has been a pleasure working with. I've had a negative experience waiting for my practical lessons. There are no English sessions available at my school, and I've waited a considerably long time ( a few months) to get my first practical session (which I must now do in french). It's also a little difficult difficult reach their customer service phone number. It often goes to voice-mail.

I like this school and I like people working in school .friendly and respectful

My 2 kids cannot reach you over the last 4 months to finish their classes and get their permits. Your door is closed in open hours. Nobody answer the phone, ever...and your voice-mail is full. Seriously. What is going on? I either want a call back for appointments for both of them OR full refund.

It is truly a nightmare to go here. It took me 2 and a half years to finish my course when it should take one year. I was always trying to schedule classes, but they never have any availabilities ( I took night classes at the time and was available during the day at all times). I would often have a gap of several months between classes since they had no availabilities. The staff is very rude when trying to schedule classes as well. 2 of their teachers are good, the rest not so much. One teacher in particular just makes you do loops in the neighborhood, is on the phone during the class and gives no notes. Overall horrible experience

This is a classic example of a mismanaged business. No one answers the phone even if you call all day every 15min or wait 30min on hold only to get a voice mailbox where you can't leave a message. You can not Email. You can not book online. You have to come in person every week to book your courses because they they don't answer the phone and only allow you to book one course at a time.... but 90% of the time all the courses are full since they don't book too far into the future so you have to come back the following week.You will soon find you don't have time to chase them and they make you wait over a year to finish your courses.The employees will not put you in touch with the manager. They don't want your feedback. They will not change. 2.0 stars out of 5 says it all.

I went in branch a couple of days ago and the doors were closed during operating hours (11-7). The front desk was absent.Calls never get answered, and if they do it's to be let down. No availabilities, and when I ask if there will be anything in the next couple months I receive There will be availabilities next week". I ask when would be a better time to call to book a timeslot the lady just says "beginning of the week" full of attitude in her voice.And this has been ongoing since before the pandemic now that I never get a chance to book my classes anymore.There has to be a way to switch driving schools if not at least switch branches because this one is an absolute 0."
