The first time I visited the place, I had lunch with my friend whom I haven't seen in ages, She suggested the place and I am glad we tried it. The food was very tasty and delicious. The lady serving us was very nice and friendly. The only critique I would have is the music being a bit too loud, I was chatting and catching up with my friend, I had to talk louder to compensate. Otherwise the food, the place and the staff was very good.

What a perfect place for our anniversary dinner. The food was phenomenal. 100% recommended supporting this family owned restaurant. The price was very decent. Omg the Baklava. Did not disappoint.

What do three friends do after a great movie let’s take a drive to the west side of the city try a restaurant middle eastern cuisine. Was it worth the trip, it sure was. The restaurant is clean & the service was friendly & fast.I started off with Blue Hawaii & they had Mango Peach drinks. They had cool pull tabs to open the drink bottles. Mmmmmm. We ordered three different meals. The service was friendly & quick. The meals were plentiful & delicious. I took half home & took to enjoy another meal. Our taste buds were exploding with delight.Thank you we’ll be back. I know I will for sure.Colleen

What an incredible feast. The flavours so intense and unique. Our food was at our table rapidly. The King platter and the chicken kebabs were so tasty and the red cabbage and beet salad with pomegranate seeds combined perfectly.The restaurant has moved to a new venue so is still being transformed. Highly recommend. Staff very attentive to customers.

Restaurant is clean, nice seating, very spacious. Food was very nicely cooked and delicious. We ordered 1kg mixed grill, it was nice, it cam with humus, salad and a few other sides. Rice and pita bread was ok, friendly service.I heard alot about their clay dish, but it wasn't available today, will be going again to try it

Kings Restaurant in Winnipeg offers a great Middle Eastern food experience. The highlight of our meal was the Smoked Beef and Rice in Charcoal Oven Clay Bowls. Accompanying the main course were the hummus and baba ghanoush, both bursting with authentic flavors. The hummus, along with the smoky baba ghanoush, were delicious, especially when enjoyed with pita bread. The staff was attentive and helpful, and we were well taken care of throughout our meal. To quench our thirst, we enjoyed the refreshing Barbican Pineapple and the Pineapple Juice with Basil Seeds, which perfectly complemented our meal. For those seeking great Middle Eastern food with friendly service, I totally recommend Kings Restaurant!

My sister and I dropped by after coming from visiting our mother at Grace Hospital. The owner immediately greeted us with opens arms. Upon hearing where we were coming from, she turned into her natural motherly caring mode and made sure we were both doing okay. She even gave us baklava on the house to cheer us up! The platters we got were freshly made, super delicious, and were a generous portion size. Do not listen to the reviews about the owner being loud. This is just how passionate ethnic mothers are. They treat you like you're part of the family! We do not live in this area, but will definitely be making the drive to come back and eat here.

Amazing food. I got the Kings platter which was absolutely wonderful. The portions are large and well worth the price. Would return again.
