Best Season Produce Ltd

I go and shop in this store each week. The vegetables are not always fresh but at least 3-4 days a week, they have good selection of vegetables coming from just the Lower Mainland farms. The prices are not as expensive as the giant groceries and the staff are friendly, easy to talk to, very straightforward and polite. It's a small store with nothing fancy to display-mostly basic food of Asians, South Asians and Middle Easterners. They have some old selection of fruits and veggies outside, selling for a dollar per bag; some items inside the bags are no longer eatable but you can find some apples, for example, 3 or 4 pieces good to eat. They don't deny the oldness of the veggies. What you see is what you get. The staff are hardworking people. The store provides you with the small village type of convenience. If you live in the countryside, this is the store. If you are near or in New Westminster, this store provides you the ambience of those old time businesses that you seldom see now. I'm giving it 5 stars as it deserves.

My husband went there yesterday to buy mangoes. They have a deal its $10 for a box of mangoes 16 pcs. Mangoes look good from the outside but darn we can't eat any single mangoes we got, it's so bad inside. Like the colour brown. Like rotten inside. All 16 pcs are like this. Trying to call them but they don’t pick up.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable; very open to answering questions. I have made many requests and the good people of Best Season Produce have done everything possible for a positive experience. As a customer you will always get good value at Best Season Produce.

An AWESOME FAMILY own local grocery store . Supporting local business is way better than going to an upscale organization. The owners and staff really understand what it means to execute customer experience and satisfactions. It's a very warm welcoming environment. Also with the deals in store, can't help with smiling from cheeks to cheeks.Keep up the great work here !

***edit*** changed my review to one star, all of their spaghetti squashes I bought were rotten (completely sprouted inside, too bitter to eat), never had that happen ever, they must have kept them for a long time...full priced item not on sale***I would describe this as a slightly better fruiticana.Beware of sale items, many if not all of them had some degree of rotteness to them (bruising, mould, etc), I would buy them unless you can be certain as it doesn't seem like a place that would refund rotten produce (major grocery stores will do this).Other nice local grocery store

I like this store because I have found a lot of products which are fresh, even if it's not seasonal products.My sister and me went in just to check what the prices are and we also found out that they sell some Mexican products even cheaper than some Mexican stores. That made us very happy because every time we look for jalapeños in cans, refried beans, tostadas or mole we know we can go here and the best thing is that this place is so close where we live.Another thing we love buying here is green tomatoes (or some people know them as tomatillos), they are sold either in can or just fresh and the best thing is that is very affordable. We usually buy it once a week because we love to make green salsa or for a meal such as enchiladas.The store also has good deals or when they want to get rid of some stuff later, they sell them as small packages but they are still fresh.I highly recommend this store because of the quality and variety of products. Definitely I am not disappointed at all and very happy when purchasing every time here.

Recently visited to get fruits and vegetables for a family event. I was amazed at how friendly the staff is and the quality of produce available. Fresh fruits and veggies at such affordable prices!
