Very good place for rock climbing. They have very accessible options for kids as young as 3 which is fun for a family outing. They also sell snacks which is nice !

Only place in Montreal that charged me for the top rope certification AND the day pass (usually they take out the cost of certification). Otherwise a huge gym (but you have to switch out your rope every time). There are better spots to boulder.

Horizon Roc Climbing Centre
Huge, absolutely massive climbing gym catering to all types of indoor climbing, with some really unique walls and a customizable climbing area. Truly an impressive place. No lineups for routes due to sheer quantity.Only downsides are that you need to put up and take down your rope for top rope each climb, and there is no air conditioning in the building. But I would recommend going here all the same!

Very nice climbing gym where you can do everything: top rope, lead, bouldering and even speed climbing. They have a very nice roof section. Lot of routes, decent amount of problems. They also have a cheap Moonboard (without LEDs). They have a couple of hangboards and a campus board but training equipment could be better.

Avoid. Geared towards screaming school groups and loud birthday parties. Same old management that doesn’t care about customer service. A new paint layer every major anniversary doesn’t change the lack of cleanliness and hygiene. Holds with blood smeared on them that aren’t cleaned, even when bringing it to staff attention. High staff turnover rate is a good indicator of how they treat their customers as well. So many safety infractions with unsupervised kids running around under climbers. There are much better options available for other climbing gyms on and off island. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Great climbing centre. Always empty but they deliver on the space.A bit old school and low budget on the image, but that's to deliver on the product while keeping the prices low!

Horizon Roc Climbing Centre
I love the Horizon Roc Climbing Centre. Been a member for 5 months now and it's simply the best. I have been to Allez-Up + Bloc Shop etc... you just can't compare. Horizon Roc has more routes, more walls, a ton of bouldering problems - you can loose track of time there's so much fun to be had. I would really recommend this gym to anyone. They have a very good staff and even with the labor shortage they always try their best to give you the best service and attention. It's also the same owners since they opened in 1994, a real Montreal success story! Bravo et merci bcp HR! Thank you!

Great bloc climbing gym with belaying walls as well. They also have a fun zone to train your height tolerance.12-15 minutes walking from a stop on the green metro line

Horizon Roc Climbing Centre
I absolutely loved the place! It's huge! Good bouldering, good top roping and an incredibly nice and helpful staff. I went to it specifically because they had a childrens section. Which my baby cousin loved. Best of all it was relatively cheaper compared to literally all Ontario climbing gyms I've been to. I highly recommend it for children, beginners and intermediate climbers.
