York Region Paramedic Response Station - 23

From my initial call to 911 to getting to the hospital I was never so sick and scared. I had become very dizzy and I could not get off of the couch. I couldn't sit up. I thought I was going to lose consciousness. I had trouble getting words out because I was having trouble breathing. 911 hung up on me and told me to call back if I got worse. I was afraid I was getting worse and wouldn't be able to call. The attitude toward me was at best cold and callus. This attitude prevailed when help finally arrived. They did not bother to hide their disdain for me. I could not stop throwing up. Choking on itFeeling like I was going to die.They took my phone, they wanted my daughters name. I told them. They decided to pick a name at random and without my Express permission called this person and revealed my private health information to them. I couldn't believe it. The paramedics were so cold and callous toward me I became afraid to go with them. I thought if I needed help they would rather let me die. I regret calling them. I was written off. I felt degraded and humiliated. I'm calling a Lawyer when I get home.
