It is not very often you find a skilled painter with a deep understanding about the lingering issues that may exist with a home. Eric goes above and beyond my providing detailed quotes and recommendations on how to make your house shine through his restoration services.

We've hired Eric and his team three times now, and they've done a great job every time. Most recently, they repaired a leak on an exterior deck that was causing dripping through the interior walls below. They redesigned the half wall and flashing that was the cause of the problem, fixed the damaged sheathing underneath, and redid the deck siding and railing to match. The end result looks great.We've previously hired Renaissance to paint the interior of our home, and (with our neighbours) to paint the exterior of our side-by-side duplex. They did a stellar job each time. One of their strengths is having the skills to do carpentry work as well as painting. For our exterior painting, for example, they rebuilt a Juliet balcony that was falling apart, and patched areas of siding that were rotting. So much more efficient than hiring a separate contractor to do that work!

I had the guys from Renaissance come out to do quite a few things for my new condo. Everything turned out perfect. They exceeded expectations and were on time every single day. I would highly recommend using these guys for any project you have coming up!

Eric, Pat and the team offered a detailed estimate of our project. They were the only ones out of 3 quotes that were comprehensive and identified areas that required carpentry work in addition to painting. Renaissance Painting is our go to contractor that we use to clean up our crews mess when we are done. Whether it is a small patch all the way up to a full house paint, you can always ensure Eric and his team will always do an impeccable job. They are also great with working with, removing, prepping and fixing old wood baseboards, and wainscoting in character homes.They are the first and only company that we have found that can assist us with these delicate wood finishings, when dealing with a knob and tube retrofit, in many of big old heritage homes throughout Vancouver.

Eric has a deep understanding of the effects of weather on a home. He recently repaired and repainted several areas on our home that had become rotten due to weather/water damage, and poor treatment of the wood surfaces by the original builder. He also repaired an outdoor deck which needed enhanced weather proofing and new tiles laid.Eric and his team are extremely professional, hard working, respectful of the garden, and always keep the work area clean and tidy. Renaissance were very fast to repair a leak on our upper floor balcony that was causing water damage in our basement. They ordered custom flashing and redesigned and rebuilt the entire problem area of the balcony to not only correct the problem but also provide a long term solution that would prevent future water damage. The work was done quickly, professionally and to a very high standard. Highly recommend.

Eric and the team at Renaissance Painting did an amazing job with the exterior of our kitsilano heritage home. They were kind, professional and kept the space clean. Their detail and carpentry work was exemplary. There was one small spot that failed (front door) and Eric was great about returning a year later to fix it.
