Atlantic Dental Centre

I've been going there for 20 years. Went to get some work done by a different dentist than usual, he didn't do what I needed done then over billed me and put it to collections over 80$ after spending thousands over the years of going there. Not to mention the harassment of the soliciting there services, to the point you block them.

This office is very unprofessional and unorganized. Mainly due to the office manager, Cathy. I strongly feel that I was subject to discrimination by her based on my ethnicity. Terrible!! Isn't this 2023?? The actual dentists and staff are quite nice. But if you want anything done promptly or efficiently at a reasonable cost, go elsewhere. Also, be prepared for them (Cathy) to try and bully you into expensive costs, and pay out of pocket instead of direct billing to your insurance. We're all so rich - we can wait to be reimbursed!? Right? NOPE!! It's ALL about the money!!! Not client care! TRUST ME, GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Great experience today, as always. I have been a patient for years now and always had great service and care. Very nice people to talk with and even have a laugh or two every time. Thanks for the exceptional work, care and friendly service from everyone. Recomend it 100%.

My dental appointment went great today, it was like being at a retreat. Not only did they clean my teeth so they sparkle I was complemented on my hair I was complemented on my nails I felt great when I left. Thank you to the staff at Atlantic Dental for making my day.

I love this dental office, the staff are friendly, professional, fun and efficient! The office is also very clean and nicely designed.When I get my teeth cleaned by Christine, I feel like I am not just visiting the hygienist, but feel like I am visiting a friend, as we always have some good laughs during my cleaning!It’s an all around great place, and it’s why I have been going there for many years.

The office location at the Halifax Shopping Centre is perfect for me. Lots of free parking. I was reminded by a number of texts of my upcoming appointment. When I arrived I sent a text to let them know I was there and they let me know when to come to the office. This was good as I had no contact with other clients. My appointment was on time and the dental hygienist was very professional and thorough. She had my teeth feeling nice and clean and provided helpful advice on spots I was missing. I was also able to book my next appointment with her so again one stop service. In and out in a hour. Great job. Highly recommend them. Mind you I have been going here for over 20. Years. I might be a bit bias but I do keep coming back. Lol.

Dr Car has been my dentist since I was a child. Now that I have a young daughter she has started seeing Dr Car. Dr Car is probably one of the most amazing woman i’ve ever known, and an amazing dentist. She makes me feel very calm and at ease when I bring my young child in to see her. As well I quite enjoy my dentist visits as well.

Dr Carr and her assistant Heather always make you so comfortable with friendly conversations. They are both attentive when I am asking questions. The office is very friendly and the waiting area is comfortable. It feels like I am visiting friends. I have been a patient of Dr Carr's for 20+ years.

I was greeted by a friendly receptionist upon entering clinic and was taken in by hygienist exactly at scheduled appointment time. Visit was for a full dental cleaning. The hygienist, Heather, did an excellent job, discussed dental care with me , very friendly and professional. I have been a patient at Atlantic Dental now for 15 years and have always experienced this type of treatment and would highly recommend them.

People are really friendly and the appointment , process is really smooth.I was there for my crown treatment and am satisfied 100%. Doctor Evan Carr explained each and every thing he was doing and did the treatment with utmost level of professionalism.Would surely recommend people this place for dental needs.
