Best dentist I've ever had!! I have been seeing Dr Yasmin for years now and she and her team have giving me so much confidence in my smile I find the staff at FDC so welcoming and positive it is always a great experience. Honestly can't say enough good things I feel fortunate to have found them.

Very friendly staff and the whole office is spotless. Very friendly and professional staff. Had such a great experience getting a cleaning done with Dental Hygienist Mikayla, and a filling done by Dr. Yasmin. Highly recommend going here.

A few years ago I found myself searching for a new dentist.I walked into the Cobourg Family Dental Centre after seeing that they had options for those with anxiety around dental appointments, to see what they had to offer.I was greeted so warmly by Laura. I told her about my MANY fears, and that I really didn't think I was going to find a dentist who understood my needs. She sat down with me in an office and listened to all my worries, and then unpacked some solutions and options. She never made me feel silly for having fears - but instead embraced them and assured me they would do anything they could to make me feel comfortable with their office and their team. I left that day feeling rather optimistic about the variety of options I had to choose from.As time went on, I had dental appointments with various team members and they were all lovely. However part of my particular needs with dental work are that I remain consistent with who I see. So after a while I fell into a rhythm with Lisa for my cleanings and Dr. Yasmin for my dental work. Each of them got to know my preferences, my fears and hesitations, and me as a person. Now I am able to go in for my cleanings without worry because I know Lisa will be there with everything she needs to help me through the appointment without any surprises or changes. We have worked together on how often I should come in to achieve the results I want and maintain my comfort - and it's old hat now. That in itself is a major accomplishment for me, and I wouldn't be where I am if not for Lisa's understanding and compassion.Now - for the big stuff. Fillings - Crowns - Bridges. I have literally had them ALL with Dr. Yasmin. I've cried in her chair out of immobilizing fear - and her amazing assistant Meghan has literally held my hand through it (more than once!). Dr. Yasmin knows her stuff and I believe being a Dentist was her true calling. She is excellent at what she does - but more than that, she TRULY cares. There's no way I'd be where I am today with a full mouth of my own working/healthy teeth if not for her. It just would NOT have happened. I've lived half my life with missing teeth because they were just too unhealthy, and Dr. Yasmin worked with me every step of the way and encouraged me to save the teeth I still had instead of replacing them (believe me I tried to convince her that I should just take them all out!). It took many appointments - but I am feeling so good about myself now when I can smile into a mirror and not see any holes or chipped teeth! It really is a life changer. I am more confident now because I can fully smile and laugh without being self-conscious about missing teeth.Dr. Yasmin and team - I don't have enough words to adequately thank you for your help - so I am hoping by writing this, others who suffer will have the courage to come and see you. Family Dental Centre is a true gem, and it's clear to see 'the speed of the leader is the speed of the gang'.

I have been a happy client of FDC for the past five years. I had a crown installed a couple years ago and their excellent work is still holding up. I regularly have my cleanings done by Lisa. She is simply the best hygienist I have ever had! My wife also loves her hygienist. So happy to have found reliable oral health practitioners so close to home. I will keep going back for as long as have my own teeth.

After many attempts to pick up the phone and call to ask what could be done about my (now rapidly) determining teeth. My overwhelming fear of dentists from my childhood trauma kept me for decades avoiding dentists at all costs.My teeth got to the point that I had to do something. So I sent an email to FDC basically saying I need mew teeth.I received a very prompt call and an introduction meeting was set up. The hardest part in the meeting was opening my mouth for two basic strangers to see the extant of the damage.Immediately Dr.Yasmin and Krystyne put me right at ease. They checked the situation and were very upfront about what they could do. They could even save some of my own teeth.After a few prep appointments with my final on At 2:10 today. I sit here typing this with my new teeth and they feel great!!I highly recommend FDC for all your family needs. Went here for a couple appointments. All was going well. I numerous times asked if everything was covered as I had no extra money. Every time I was told yea it’s all covered. Got all the way in the the chair with gas mask on and all before they all of a sudden had to charge me hundreds of dollars extra. I left as I couldn’t pay anything. Then they charged my insurance $4000 anyways even tho I had absolutely no work done.

Great experience to visit Family Dental Centre ! We feel welcomed and they make you feel as part of their family. All the personal are pleasant to deal with and are very professional.

I have been attending Family Dental Center for the last year now after switching from another practice. I have never had a bad experience everyone there is friendly and caring. I am very nervous when it comes to having work done on my teeth and since attending this dentist office my Nervous have minimized and I actually look forward to going to the Dentist.I would highly recommend this office to anyone who asks.
