Tracadie Beach

Simply the best beach on PEI, and it's dog friendly.

Park and walk down it’s worth it, it wasn’t busy when I was there , but that was on a Tuesday afternoon… it’s such a cute little walk with extremely stunning views!!!

My all time absolute favorite beach everything about this place is perfect for someone like myself who loves swimming . There is a big drop off that leads right into deep water perfect for swimming . There are lots of critters like hermit crabs, regular crabs, flounder other fish and even little lobster that hang out in these waters which is awesome if you are snorkeling. Also, there is hardly ever any jellyfish which i find a lot at other beaches. You can have your dog off the the leash and enjoy a beer or have a bonfire . Also , across the water is a beautiful island that becomes accessible when the tide goes out in the evening unless you want to swim across. My only problem with this place is the disrespect it gets from some of the younger crowd. This year has been the worst for broken glass all over the beach its dangerous and you don't want to take your flip flops off . Ive noticed that some has disappeared so thank you to whoever has cleaned it up. But still there remains quite a bit. There is no reason to break your bottles its stupid and effects everyone ! Bring cans not bottles and clean up after yourself so everyone can enjoy this beautiful place

Tracadie beach is a great spot. We enjoy taking our dogs for beach walks in the evenings. Make sure to always have footwear on though.

Nice spot to go swimming. Often it's not busy. However if you are afraid of dogs people do let their dogs off leash down there so do consider that. Water drops off pretty quickly so be cautious if kids aren't good swimmers.

Spent a couple of days enjoying this PEI beauty. Swim across or walk around to get out on the National Park beach.... Amazing

A good beach with coastal development underway. There's a resort under construction. There goes the view.

Perfect if you have a pooch. Dog friendly beach. Fins (the restaurant) is amazing. Close to National park. Was a little buggy one day.

Interesting development happening @ Tracadie Beach....so glad you can still walk your dog in restricted area....
