Staff came across as quite relieved when I turned 26 which was very hurtful

I found this place upon a search to try to get help with my mental health. The problem with the institution is that the staff don’t actually care about your well being. I went in with strong hopes and reassurance that I will be involved, they took my cell phone number here and there so that the peer mentors could contact me. Ever since my last visit I have been going very down hill mentally and I have not heard from any one. They did not help, didn’t even try to make an effort. Very disappointed with the services.

If you need help with mental health or addiction, call them. They care and will do everything they can to help guide you.To the guy that drove here with a broken foot, I think you had the wrong address, this isn't a doctor's office.

I feel that this centre did not give us as parents enough information to my son and also I feel that a centre should not just give meds out to young people just after 3 appointments, also is it not by law that you need a parent consent for giving meds o your child at 17 years old.

An incredible resource for youth between the ages of 17 and 25. Very caring and compassionate staff, drop in counseling available Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you are a young person in of need help, please try this resource.

Incredible kind and knowledgeable staff. Their emotional regulation course is super helpful in understanding emotions and then creating good coping skills based on many factors (that you learn over weekly sessions). My only complaint which is no fault of their own is the waitlist is very long, sign up early. There are lots of people that need help and it creates long wait times.

I have attended this place for a long time and to be honest they didnt do much to help me. The psychiatrist there told me i didnt need therapy cause it wouldnt help me with my trauma, also told me i didnt have depression which in fact i do. They also only gave me once a month appointments with a peer mentor and a mental health nurse, after I would BEG, cry and kept trying to get what i needed and they didnt do anything to help me. They made me jump through hoops, only to finally be told they couldnt help me anymore because of my disability and after everything I went through there too they didnt do anything when I exclosed I felt unsafe going there due to being threatened and bullied by 2 youth there. They never did anything just told me to be careful" and to ignore it.However

People on the phone were nice. Drove 20 minutes in a standard car with a crushed foot in the pouring rain after calling first to make sure I should come, just to find the doors locked and apparently it's now closed. It's 3:30am and now I'm 20 minutes from home with a broken foot and nobody to help. Hurts too much to risk driving to another place and have the same thing happen again. Thanks

Too bad there is no 0 star. Inefficient team, which is only interested in collecting information for statistical purposes. If you don't want to waste your time, stay away and seek private help.The only good thing is the waiting chair, which is somewhat comfortable, and the elevator that avoids going up the stairs to the 2nd floor.
