Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Strawberries are moldy. They replaced them, but half of them are still dry or moldy. They are offered in Mother’s Day deal. The manager Aubrey said that was what they got. Now I’m curious about the quality of the meat they sell. I didn’t want to argue with her as she seems doesn’t care about it. Happy Mother’s Day, and don’t get sick, all the moms! :)

Great place for dinner, one of my favourite Asian bbq places in the city. 4 of us dined and we decided to order the bbq combo for 4, worked out to $42.00 per person, the combo included premium steaks such as ribeye, filet mignon, and ny strip. The order also came with cooked appetizers. The amount of food was perfect for our table. Cooking at the table is always fun.Service was attentive and prompt.

Amazing experience at Gyu Kaku! Amy was wonderful accommodating and reserving for our large group! Our server was funny, professional and attentive! Food was so flavorful!! Highly recommend the Gyu Kaku feast for a larger group! It's the perfect amount of food with so much variety!! Everything was delicious and a really special experience to celebrate a specia occasion or to try something new!

Wow what an experience, our server was a young fellow from Vietnam who made the entire time an absolute treat. I would highly recommend coming in just to have the best customer service. He was the only server and it was a packed restaurant and I couldn’t have been more impressed or pleased with how hard he worked. Great food, great atmosphere and will definitely be back.

The food was really good. We enjoyed it a lot and the staff were really helpful and attentive.Would definitely recommend the their salad and chicken noodles. There was only one type of thin sliced beef that didn’t taste good and had a weird after taste but other than that it was a pleasant experience!!

Service is not great but the meat is good quality. I recommend trying one of their packages rather than a la carte. The fried chicken karagee is the best I’ve tasted.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
Although we hadn’t made a reservation, they were able to get us in for 8pm. Little late for dinner but surely worth it especially on a cold winter night in Calgary.Quality of meat was very good and surely was value for the price. Staffs were well trained and professional in helping us out.For those that love DIY grilling such as us, I surely recommend this place.
