Huron Child Care Inc

I have three children and have used a few different centres. Huron centre is by far the best child care centre I've had the privilege to use. My daughter has been in since she was an infant so she got to experience each of the rooms. I can say without a doubt each and every one one of the staff are AMAZING. They treat the children so well and provide such an enriching environment. This centre and their staff set the bar really high! I am truly going to miss them when it's time for my daughter to move on.

Excellent daycare with great staff. They provide great care to the children. Public parking is limited.. But street parking is usually available.

My son went for 10 months and I honestly could not get him outof there sooner. The staff were so nosey and literally had something negative to say constantly. For example, they didnt like the style of ski pants I had purchased and told me unless I bought a different pair (gave me brands to look into( they would not be taking him outside in the winter months. on multiple occasions my son would come home in diapers that didn't belong to him that caused major diaper rash. Clothes would go missing too and he'd come home in the lost and found clothes. When I would ask why they would say he needed to be changed so many times throughout the day that they ran out of options from his bags. I was also subsidized at the time because I was going through a separation and a move but because the kids father and I rotated who did pick up and drop off, they called on me saying we were back together even though we weren't and were just being civil. I also took my kids to Mexico which was actually booked before our separation and before my son even started daycare there and they called on me about that as if it was against rules if you were subsidized. My son also has a huge scar on his face from falling off the play structure. When I asked what happened (because the daily report didn't explain anything) they said they didn't recall they just knew he fell. They would complain about the food I would send saying it wasn't meeting all the food groups even though my son is severely lactose intolerant and celiac because of his seizures. They constantly made me feel like I was walking on eggshells and like I was a bad mom. When we left for good, I asked for our things back like all the extra diapers and wipes, sippy cups, some clothes and blankets and they ironically had a hard time finding them and we never recieved some of his items back.. You're also not guaranteed to get a spot in other rooms once your child outgrows their current room even if you already go there.
