Took the motorcycle up fromCourtenay for lunch.Nice setting.Huge sliding patio doors open to the driving range. For that indoor outdoor feeling.A few small tables as well as the booths.Small outside side patio area, with limited views.Inside is the place to be.A venue Chapel is also on site.Great bar counter to sit up atA varied menu, for sure.Happy hours are always a good thing.My hamburger was delicious,juicy but not greasy.Not a complaint, just an observation.Burger does not come with fries, but ordering fries on the side is to large a portion for 1 person. I hate leaving food behind.Even the napkins are nice.Mens washroom have tvs, really,where's the remote.Put this place on your list for sure.As Arnie says, I'll be bauck.""

Had an absolute fantastic time here while visiting from Calgary. This is by far the best driving range I have ever been too, complimented by fantastic service from Lauren and Reese.

Nice and relaxing lounge in a quiet place. I'm not a golf fan, but still enjoyed watching a bunch of guests were playing outside. Had a Velocity Bowl with steak (28$) and enjoyed it.

Velocity Lounge & Driving Range
So much fun! A fun way to swing the sticks in the winter and set up properly so that it can be enjoyed during the pandemic. Bartender made a mean Caesar, only downside was the service. We easily could have spent another $100+ if our servers weren't mostly chatting with each other at the end of the bar. Servers were friendly, but when we couldn't order directly from the bar, we were at the mercy of the quality of servers, which was lacking on a night where it wasn't very busy.

Golf and atmosphere is great food is not bad but could use some work, had nachos not much cheese or toppings chicken strips was 2 peices of chicken and fries. The fries are good though

We visited Velocity last weekend and reserved a bay for 1.5 hours, starting at 7:30 pm.At 8:40 pm, our server comes and tells us that we’ve been playing for over 1h 45mins, in her words nearly two hours, and tell us that we can continue playing but she’ll have to charge us for 2 hours OR if we stop playing right then, then she’d just charge us for 1.5 hours.We were a little puzzled as our time slot had just started at 7:30 and by 8:40 she was telling us the above. We decided to pay right then and there and pack up our things.We should’ve spoken up but we were so confused and it felt like we were being pressured to leave as the other individuals in the lounge were all the waitresses’ friends so it seemed like they just wanted a good time altogether so that it’s only their friends in there.Just wanted to share our experience - the waitresses should be aware of people’s time slots and booked times. By the end of it, we only got playing time from 7:30 - 8:40 pm. If we actually got to stick to our time, we would have had another 20 mins of playing time which is what we reserved and paid for (7:30 - 9pm).

Neat idea and set up. Definitely fun for something different. Friendly staff. Would recommend trying it out at least once
