Pineknot Log Cabin

This place is amazing!! This was my first experience visiting the area and I now I understand why everyone loves this place :). I love the privacy, warmth and charm of this beautiful log cabin. I really appreciate that the owners work to preserve the original structure which offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the original craftsmanship of this home. The cabin is nestled on the bluff so the views and access to the lake are incredible. I love the stairway to the lake, wooden bridge overlooking the stream, the beautiful fireplace and cozy atmosphere. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us :)!!

Again and again we go back to Pine Knot for our North Shorevacations. There is no other place we would rather stay. If you are looking for a charming, quiet, comfortable place to stay near Lutsen, this is the place. It is truly the perfect place to unwind,.On nice days we explore, or browse the shops & eat in Grand Marais. Treat yourself to the gondola ride at Lutsen Mountain. You won't regret it. Everything is a short drive from Pine Knot.On rainy days, light a fire and read a book. There are so many books!The WIFI works great should you feel the need to check in to the real world. We are guilty of doing just that. Mostly to post pics on FB of our charming find on the North Shore. You could always stream a television show or movie on your device, but who would want to? There is so much else to look at. Last week the lake was really rolling, so we were treated to the ore boats hugging the coast.Thank you for renting this gem on the cliff to us. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Pine Knot. Kathy and friends

Pineknot Cabin is amazing! The cabin is cozy, and the a huge fireplace and picture windows are incredible! The stunning view of the lake never gets old. It's a perfect get-away spot! Thank you for a wonderful time!
