Le Rouge - Bold Grill & Cocktails
We had a group reservation on the weekend.Excellent service from the greeting at the door to the payment at the end.Great selection to choose from. We were a mid size group and there was something for everyone. The Private dining room was great option.Appetizers were a great start, especially the Mussels and the Crab Cake. The Steak, Prime Rib and the Halibut were AMAZING and the Salted Caramel dessert was a delicious ending to our meal.Decor and atmosphere are second to none.Kudos to the Chef and the team at La Rouge.Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Best restaurant in Halifax. Food is amazing staff is great. Cowboy steak was unreal. Sirloin was spot on. From apps to desserts all was 10/10

Le Rouge is located in the Halifax Tower Hotel. It is a new dining experience in Bayer's Lake area. Wonderful service, the staff there are friendly and helpful. The environment is fantastic. Sitting is not crowded between other tables, very clean and nice open area that made you feel so relaxing and comfortable. A wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family, friends or business partner.I ordered the seafood chowder which is very creamy and rich with salmon, halibut, shrimp and mussels. I usually don't eat thetea biscuits, but this house baked tea biscuits is amazing. The lobster croissant is full of lobster meat, I can taste the lobster in every bite. I will definitely be back and try the steaks or ribs next time.

Le Rouge was an amazing spot to go to for dinner I highly recommend even if you’re just going for a casual drink. The decor is beautiful and welcoming and the environment is very warm. The staff were wonderful to speak with and the service was impeccable! A huge bonus was that almost their whole menu was or could be made gluten free, as I’m celiac. They even have their own dedicated fryer! The staff was very knowledgeable on allergies and very accommodating! The food was delicious we had the truffle fries as an appetizer - highly recommend and I had the chipotle steak for my main! It is spicy but delicious! Their cocktails were also wonderful!

We had an incredibly amazing experience and serviceWe were greeted and seated with the friendliest people from the moment we walked through the door. Management should be so proud of their staff. All the staff were truly happy to see and welcome us and it really elevated our dining experience. Everything was spotless upon entering. Tables were comfortable and the ambiance and music were really welcoming.Once seated, our server explained there was a “Dine around special” for $50 per person on (until Feb 28th) so we opted to grab a few drinks and give it a whirl. This experience includes a 3 course meal. We were not disappointed.We opted for the beet salad with fried goat cheese, AAA sirloin steak topped with lobster and bernaise on mashed potatoes and salted caramel budino for dessert.Steaks came cooked (again perfect medium rare) topped with lobster, velvety unbroken bernaise sauce, served on mashed potatoes….and more cocktails.

Le RougeThe RestaurantThe design of the restaurant is modern and slightly moody overall a good atmosphere. The music however ruined the experience.The FoodThe meal started off good with a light fluffy crab cake, good crust nicely paired with a crisp salad. Second half of the apps was Flatbread it came out at room temperature, no more needs to be said.Mains were interesting. The Shrimp and Ravioli was reasonably good. The shrimp were big and well cooked. The ravioli left a little to be desired in comparison.The Lamb, well it was very flat the lamb it self was less than room temperature, and the best thing on the plate was the mash potatoes!Although the meringue was a little flat the Lemon Blueberry tart was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The chocolate layer cake wasn’t as good as the tart but all in all the dessert finished the meal on a high note.Restaurant Design 4/5Food 2.5/5Overall 2.5-3/5Would give them another chance.

We love this restaurant. We've been here 3 times and had a great meal and experience each time. We brought 6 friends with us on our last visit and everyone loved it.The Asian chicken nachos are amazing. The lime sour cream drizzle on them is so tasty. My husband had the ribs and said they're the best beef ribs he's had in the city. I've had the burger and the prime rib sandwich, both were amazing.We'll definitely be back!

Second time visiting this restaurant and it was just as amazing as the first. The customer service was amazing and the food was as well. Definitely won't be our last time visiting this establishment, it's a personal favorite!

What a wonderful dining experience !! Food was amazing , staff was on point with checking in and offering suggestions on drink and entrees. Spectacular decor and atmosphere. Would recommend 100% Adel our server went above and beyond and was superb. As you can see in the pictures the whole staff made our 30th wedding anniversary a night to remember.

Le Rouge - Bold Grill & Cocktails
Highly recommend. Food was delicious, I'm looking forward to going back and trying other menu items. I went for a vegetarian meal for my main and it did not disappoint. You can tell that as much thought and effort has gone into the vegetarian meals as they have their other main, non-vegetarian, meals.
