place is looking a little dated in areas..some cleaning they should do and a coat of paint here and there would help. otherwise staff was great , very helpful and accommodating. dinner was good but not many options. beds were very comfy pillow top.overall 4 stars!

Booked a long weekend trip for my wife's birthday only to be notified that the pools and spa were closed, which was one of the main reasons were planning to go there. Ended up cancelling our reservation, although trying to do it over the phone was impossible, as it sounded like the line was dead.Based on below reviews, it seems like we made the right decision.

Great stay. They recovered very well from a power outage earlier in the day. Enjoyed restaurant as well, especially on patio. So handy for golfing, but also biking trails.

We love going to Hecla Provincial Park. We camp there regularly. This was our first time staying at the Resort. We absolutely loved the pools. Our room was very spacious for three adults. Housekeeping was great- if we needed anything - they were there to help with a smile. Service and food in the restaurant was excellent. We are already planning a fall stay there.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days for my anniversary with my bf. Not once did housekeeping come by to take out our trash or give us clean towels.(which ended up overflowing by the time we were checking out.)The room looked nice, we stayed on the bottom floor, but upon further inspection we noticed crumbs and hairs in the bed. It seemed like the top blanket was changed but not the duvet or sheets. There was no fan in the washroom and other reviews have complained about mold so it’s probably due to there being no fan. The “fitness centre” is only 1 treadmill and 1 elliptical bike but the treadmill says “out of order” and after reading reviews it seems like it’s bin out of order for a very long time (the review we saw was from 1 year ago.) The kids pool was stained brown(see photo below, couldn’t take other photos because there were kids in the pool at the time,) and the chlorine was so strong I started coughing almost immediately. The adult pool area was alright but the pool was only 1 meter deep so we couldn’t really swim. The sauna and one of the hot tubs were out of order, after looking at other reviews it seems like both have been out of order for a while. Our room could have used more cleaning before we arrived considering the sink was very dirty same with the mirror. In the end you can tell this used to be a nice “resort” maybe 10 plus years ago but it’s getting run down. But besides the hotel being under maintenanced the staff are very nice and fairly accommodating. We did not have much to do there, we tried the trails but spent majority of our time there skipping rocks and watching tv. (Third photo was dirty sheets) The pizza on the menu was also not available since it wasn’t the weekend which sucked because the menu at the restaurant was already pretty small. The nachos we ate were stale and tasted gross. We did have their pasta on another night which tasted very good. For the amount of money paid and the distance we travelled it was a waste of money. Unless you will be golfing or fishing I would not recommend.

Love Hecla normally. Great Mom escape with the kids. Although this time was different. You guys need to clean up your childrens pool area, what a huge dissappointed. Booked for the weekend left the next day. Also never guarantee a peanut friendly environment. Super dissappointed on the whole ordeal. Clean up Guys!!

Where do I start? Two days prior to arriving we get a call that our Black Island massage and our geothermal massages aren't available. Then next we get the call that the mineral pool and steam shower are also not available. $50 credit is offered for inconvenience but it is too late to book anywhere else so we go there despite of our disappointment. We booked for 2 days via phone and at no time were we told that there was a Book for 2 days third day free" promotion Sunday to Thursday. When hanging around the hot tub some guests told us about the promotion and management would not allow it. Said their system wouldn't allow them to change it. Hmmmm? Food was decent. My first dinner was ribs and potatoes were ice cold! The cocktails were inconsistent day to day. There was a musty smell from the waterfall and stream that was not functioning properly and was the old ditch water smell. We eventually did get our massages and it was over priced for what you received. Don't expect a professional massage. It was a gentle hot stone with oil. Had my first ever pedicure and it felt great so can't tell you if it was good or other. The staff though were awesome. Friendly and helpful. Hallways and rooms need updating. There was paint peeling in our room and dust and a dirty cup. Various windows throughout the resort are fogged up and need to be replaced. Its liked looking through eyes that have major cataract issues!!!Most of this is a management issue which has to be addressed. I haven't been here for quite some time but was a regular and it may be a while before I return."

Room was great. King size studio had plenty of space, and the bed was super comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was lacking and the fridge actually froze some of my food, but all in all a great comfy room.Service at the restaurant was a little chaotic at points with servers not knowing who was taking new tables resulting in delays. Food was good though!Adult pool area was a great spot to relax (you could hear the screams of the kids having fun in the family area echoing into the lobby). Service at the spa was fantastic as well.My only real complaint is the fitness center". A tiny room with a treadmill (which was out of order) and an elliptical machine should NOT be marketed in your materials as a fitness center!Have already recommended Lakeview to friends and family

The hotel could use an updo as well as the water slide and adult swim area. We still had a really good stay and really enjoyed ourselves when we went up for the holiday season.I love that they have put friendly rooms it makes it easier for us as we have a dog to be able to take him with us on trips.

Rooms are a little run down and could have been more thoroughly cleaned, sunflower seeds and food crumbs were found when we arrived at our room. Great friendly staff, tasty food, relaxing pools, very nice steam room and a wonderful location made for a fun, relaxing experience.
