Jeff and his crew did a complete drain tile system on our house. They were quick on getting us an estimate and the price was definitely right. The work was done efficiently and they did an amazing job. Would highly recommend River's Edge Drainage & Excavating if you want quality work for a good price.

My basement was flooding out of no where. Jeff showed up right away and helped me determine the issue which was a blocked drainage pipe, as well as helped me excavate a drainage sump in my front yard I was not even aware was there! Flood was stopped right away and our basement was saved. Thanks so much I intend to have retaining wall work done by this company in the near future as well.

Jeff worked at our 26 year old Strata property installing 1500 feet of extra drainage pipe. He did an excellent job, and also fixed all irrigation pipes encountered during excavation. Everything quoted was carried out to a high standard. We were very pleased with the work and would have no hesitation recommending his Company.

Our outside drain became blocked close to the basement door. we were given a detailed estimate of possible problems and were pleased that the problem was solved by Jeff in his first estimate and the least involved. The workmanship was excellent. I live in a Strata complex and had a major drainage issue with my Unit and another Unit had a vertical crack in the foundation allowing water to enter. I contacted Jeff and he provided a fair estimate for the combined projects. Jeff was on time and spent about an hour evaluating the problems all the while explaining his proposed handling of the issues. Jeff arrived everyday on site as promised, he is an expert operator of his digging machine, Jeff explained all the problems as he encountered them and corrective course of action at both sites. The work was completed in a very timely manner, work site always tidy, excellent cleanup, his work is very thorough. Jeff is very personable and strives for excellence in his work performance. I highly recommend Jeff for any foundation and drainage work.

We've had ongoing water entry problems for years in our crawlspace. We hired River's Edge Drainage. Owner Jeff Openshaw and his labourer did an amazing job. Everything was done first rate and the price was very reasonable for the amount of work done. I would highly recommend him.

After the November 2021 storms we had a flooded basement. Following a terrible experience with another company and a recurring wet basement which was far worse than before, we called River's Edge Contracting for help and were not disappointed. Jeff came promptly and gave us a detailed estimate. He excavated the perimeter drains of our home and discovered multiple issues that had not been addressed by the previous company. After he re-dug the perimeter of our home, he removed non approved pipes, and installed CSA approved pipe at the correct level. Also he installed solid pipes to carry roof water separately. Then he installed dimple board after sealing all cracks in the foundation. Jeff's work was done in a meticulous and professional manner and he left our yard in a very tidy condition. We highly recommend this company.

Water seeped in fast and furious during the floods of winter 2021. Tenant was vacuuming water manually. The first plumber came, diverted some pipes but left without fixing the problem. Tenant continued another 3 hours of vacuuming until Jeff showed up. He had to grind a hole in the concrete ground to install a temporary pump. Not an easy job. He saved our property from thousands of damage costs. He later helped us apply for permits to the city for new drain tiles and hook-up to the city drainage. He did an incredible job, no more leaks! Jeff is not only skilled and meticulous, we also had excellent communication. He was also helping the community to pull out animals from the flood with his truck that were sure to have drowned. Incredible person. We are so grateful. My only negative is that he is very high in demand, so you'll be lucky to book him!!
