Uptown Yonge Preschool

My kid started her pre-school with UYP. Right from day 1, the director and faculty have been very welcoming and responsive. They gave us a good school tour and helped the kid transition into school mode very soon. She loves going there. They have an inclusive environment and are always open to learn and encourage kids about learning new cultures.

Both of my sons attended Uptown Yonge Preschool, and I could not have been more thrilled with their time there. The teachers are kind, compassionate, highly knowledgeable and fun!The small environment was perfect for my boys' first school" experience

We are extremely pleased with Uptown Yonge Preschool. Our son attended the Summer school program held by the organization. He had a great time. The teachers were fantastic and very helpful, my son fell in love with them.The program was well thought out and structured and kept the kids engaged. Their preferred method of communication through an app was great, we could reach the teachers almost in real time when we needed.The Director, Tia Butler, was amazing. She patiently helped us understand the programs they offered and responded to our barrage of queries. She was very professional, helpful and warm. We felt properly attended and taken care of.Overall, an amazing experience, definitely a five star option for kids. We will definitely be considering the after school programs as well.Kudos to Tia and the team! Great job!

My son has been here for his after school program and I must say the facilities and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. The staff is loving, encouraging and very supportive and bus pickup from school very prompt. For my son this was like a home away from home and he has enjoyed his time here. Incredible preschool and staff! My son is now in school but remembers his experience so fondly he asks to go back and visit every time we drive by. You can tell the staff are really passionate about working with children and they do a wonderful job teaching different units each week and engaging the children. Definitely a warm and welcoming place for the early years.

What do I say about this amazing preschool! In simple words, Uptown Yonge Preschool is the best thing that has ever happened to my son! Such kindness, such thoughtfulness such care, such positivity under one roof my goodness! Made me wonder at times, are you guys even real?I am honestly at a loss for words expressing how emotional and grateful I feel for everything that you did for my son! We owe you so much Miss Tia, Miss Stephanie, Miss Fabiola and all the amazing friends of my son! You are the bestest best! <3The beautiful memories made in UYS will be forever etched in our hearts! We love UYPS!

My son who is in Grade 1 loved UYP. The teachers are warm, attentive and nurturing. They cater to each child's individual needs. They really listened to my concerns and was innovative in coming up with strategies to make my child feel comfortable and most importantly have fun! My daughter who is two going on three goes there now and she has learned so much. She has a hard time saying goodbye at drop off times, but Tia and the other teachers are incredible at getting her settled and interacting. They teach independence but with a support and guidance. I could not ask for a better preschool experience for my children!

UYP was a wonderful and caring place for my daughter.The staff takes every child’s needs into consideration with learning and social activities. My daughter was very attached to us and UYP not only prepared her for J.K, but had her looking forward to preschool every day! Was a wonderful piece of mind for me.

The best preschool in North York area. My 4 year old joined the school in middle of the year when we moved from the states. The staff was super welcoming and caring. School director/owner (Tia) is highly flexible in accommodating your child's needs and schedule. All the teachers are very knowledgeable and wonderful human beings. My son is going to JK this September and he will miss the school and teachers...Highly recommend the school!!!
