Beware: the Google reviews are true. We helped a family member rent a unit in East York that was managed by North 44. Yes, they are extremely difficult to get a hold of in order to schedule any showing. Who runs this property management company by the way? If they could read these reviews, hopefully they can learn to improve their company and re-hire new staff that are trained.The most unpleasant experience of all was meeting the superintendant of the building, Trevor Wilks. Trevor, for no good reason at all, blocked my phone number when I tried to reach him a few times to confirm our meeting. Trevor is rude and on the best terms he could be described as dismissive in his character. There is no way Trevor could ever be described as professional. I read the previous tenant reviews now and noticed Trevor is not the only superintendant that makes a habit of blocking tenant phone numbers for no good reason: Fiona (not sure if she is still working with this company) was also reportedly blocking tenant phone numbers as well. How are we suppose to get a hold of the superintendant for an emergency? Plus, the office themselves are completely unresponsive.If another company offered similar affordable rentals in the city, and had an approachable caring service, they would put North 44 out of business. It's a shame that the company is willing to put up with such employees and their attitudes to customers, simply because many people need affordable housingGood luck ever trying to get a hold of your superintendent if you ever have a problem after moving in (if they even answer your phone/email inquiry to see the apartment in the first place).

I just moved to their Donlands location. Every communication was smooth and straight forward. Everyone I have spoken to from North44 management team was extremely helpful. I made a note of one of the windows not closing properly and they came the very next day to fix it. The location and price beats all odds of today's market.

North 44 properties has impressed me as a new tenant. Having several moves and difficult rental experiences in my past - the staff at my building and in the office have been welcoming, kind, receptive and available. Moving has not been an easy experience in the past for me - thank you for making my experience easier by ensuring my new home was safe, clean and ready for my arrival. I am one of many happy tenants of a property managed by the North 44 Property Management. Management team and on duty staff are very professional and helpful. I was living in 1535 Birchmount Road Scarborough during 2020 and 2021, moved to 1555 Birchmount Road scarborough earlier this year. Both properties are managed by North 44 Property Management.

I have been browsing for spacious apartment for quite a while, but after taking a view of the apartments offered hy North44, it was really impressive.The apartment i looked on is a quite neighbourhood and the people of north44 are very easy to communicate.The buildings are clean and fresh. For, Anyone looking for an apartment north44 properties are a straight YES.

Moved into the Moodie apartment building in Thunder Bay. The view is gorgeous, but there are a few repairs to be made in the unit, and the appliances are on their last legs. Thankfully, the same day that I let them know of the fixes needed, the building manager came by to take a look.Will update to five stars once repairs are made.

I have seen few of the units of their downtown property and I am impressed with the floor plans; the units are laid out most efficiently to provide spacious area and good natural light. The property is well maintained plus security, cleanliness and pest control are taken seriously. The units are well refurbished before handing over to the new tenants; management team and the building supervisor are easily available and responsive as per requirement.

Head office and property management are on the ball, they are quick to reply, send documents needed for signature in a timely manner and they do follow ups right away too

I rent an apt in Sault Ste. Marie on Goulais Avenue from North 44 Properties and I'm quite happy here.The management is always professional and friendly and the maintenance is quick and efficient. The grounds are well kept and the buildings are pet friendly. My rent is quite reasonable and I would recommend these units to anyone. I really appreciate the on site laundry facilities as well. Been living in one of their buildings for over 8 years and I would definitely recommend them. The building is clean, management is nice, friendly and professional. Anytime you need something they’ll do it for you in matter of day or two.
