1 star is generous for the unprofessional behaviour exhibited by the person who dealt with a passport renewal there. Surely being called Service Canada a level of professional customer service" would be required to work there but obviously not. The woman laughed as though she enjoyed hassling people needlessly. Chatted with coworkers unprofessionally and spoke riudely. With the amount of people looking for work in walkerton there are so many more qualified to do her job. How on earth that person still works there is unreal.Note: Needing assistance? Take the time to drive to Owen Sound worth the drive."

A minus rating would be more appropriate.Visiting this location (Walkerton) was like stepping into an alternate dystopian universe where Canada had become a part of the cold war U.S.S.R.Our family (executors) arrived with legal documents, hoping to clear up required federal paperwork after my father's death.We were informed they are busy, people need passports.We were instructed to go online to request an appointment. They will reply in two business days to schedule an appointment.One executor drove two hours to attend to this federal paperorkI would describe the attitude in this office as arrogant, insensitive and unprofessional.Couldn't care less why we were there.In comparison, one government office to another, we went to Service Ontario the same day, same town, Walkerton, and they dealt with two required tasks involving a death, which were handled immediately, courteously, and professionally! I wish I knew her name to commend her.The agent at Service Ontario also expressed her condolences.Service Canada considered us an inconvenience.How dare we require their sevices!I am posting out of frustration.How can one government institution be so helpful and another be so... useless? There may be a better description... but...Useless

I went to this location on May 4th, as our father had passed away & had to do some paperwork. It was the closest to where our dad lived. We were greeted" by a security guard asking why we were there. We told him. Did you make an appointment? No. Then it will be an hour and a half wait. Okay..we will wait

went in today to renew passport. they printed off an application, told me where i could get photos done in town, and politely helped me with my errors on my renewal. all done within an hour! thanks service Canada.

Some of the reviews here had me worried. But my experience in March 2023 at Walkerton Service Canada was fast and pleasant.

Went in early on a Monday and only had a short wait. The woman that helped me was fairly quick and very friendly. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.
