The food was reasonable but we waited over an hour for our food which I feel is a little bit excessive. Waitress didn't ask how our meal was and we had to flag her down to get another brew. Nice! Looking out over the Pacific ocean though. I guess I just expected a little more from a premier pub in a cruise ship town. I'm not saying don't go, I'm just saying our experience was mediocre.

A beautiful meal was enjoyed by my wife and I at Breaker’s Pub in Prince Rupert, BC. I enjoyed a French onion soup and Szechuan Tiger Prawns. My wife had a Caesar salad and chicken strips with a Chile, plum sauce. Truly great food in an excellent atmosphere. Go there.

Another excellent lunch at Breakers. Apparently they are still short staffed but you wouldn’t have known if from the great service we received. The Shrimphouse special was perfect and the house made veggie burger got rave reviews as well. Apparently the lettuce wrap was “really tasty” and the chicken souvlaki was “as good as ever.” Four thumbs up from our lunch group. We will be back.

I've been here a few times. When it's not busy, it's fast service. But when it's supper time or lunch time your waiting a while to eat. The view is so nice though! And the food is good! Jambalaya is amazing!

Great view, the service was really good. They were super busy running their butts off from being short staffed but, we always had drinks. The food was pretty good, pub food fare. I had the halibut burger, it was tasty and, says it’s local but, there isn’t any other local seafood on the menu.The 4/5 is for neon green margaritas, they weren’t the worst and certainly not the bartenders fault, it’s obviously the restaurants preference to use bar mix to make margaritas and, they serve them TALL, so weird. Definitely dates the establishment.I’d go back, it’s a decent pub and has a fun atmosphere. The service is definitely the highlight here, hope breakers pub knows that and is paying their staff accordingly. They deserve it.

Excellent food, drinks, and service. The “alternative” (vegetarian) burger was especially good. Love to see a delicious house-made veggie patty instead of something frozen and store-bought, especially when it’s so good! Fries and cider were great, too!

The selection of meals is varied and quite good. They had a nice selection of beer on tap. The service was prompt and attentive at just the right level.We were happy to find a pub where the music was played quietly in the background so that we could enjoy a conversation. Win!

The Breakers Pub is Cow Bay Harbor close the cruise terminal. We some of the locals what restaurant do they recommend they al say Breakers Pub. They serve from sea food,burgers and other items. This place gets busy during the cruise season we waited then finally they call us they found a good seats with a great view of the harbor. The waitess hand us the menu we were looking at it and decided what to order,we decided to wings with BBQ sauce and Pourtine the classic Canadian comfort meal.I decided to order some Canadian craft beers and wait for our food to come. They brought the food and including the drinks also my beer. We try the Pourtine wow so much flavor in the Pourtine and cheese curds just melt it in the fries and beef gravy. The beef gravy was incredible good great flavors. The cheese were incredible good we enjoy it very much. The wings were very good they cook the wings well to a crispy side including the BBQ sauce. We love. The beers are incredible good I enjoy it. The server was very good and friendly especially the manager we talk he was really nice. The restaurant looks really nice it a local hangbout.

Some of the best calamari I’ve ever had. Lightly breaded, really fresh, great texture, and excellent lemony tarter. Bar staff was super friendly and generally nice people sitting at the bar. Would come back.
