I am a single mom with no family around so I find it very difficult to trust contractors and repair men. I always fear being taken advantage of because I am a lady. Derick made me feel at ease and very comfortable. He’s my go to guy for any little or big repairs inside or outside my house. Derick is very knowledgable and what I like most about him is that he explains what he’s doing during the process so that I understand.Derick is quick at returning my calls, and I’ve never had an issue with availability. He appreciates that life can sometimes be busy and he is very flexible with his schedule. I would certainly recommend Derick to anybody looking for help around the house. He is reliable, he is trustworthy and his work is phenomenal.

It's been nearly 2 months now that I have given Mr. Palmer the benefit of the doubt but now I'm done. The contract he provides to customers is not worth the paper it's written on...it means absolutely nothing. After our first contractor dropped us, Mr. Palmer quoted us for some bathroom renos and after we paid 70% of the contract value, he started work. The time schedule he presented to us quickly went out the window and sometimes he would not even show up, without any notification whatsoever. The work progressed very slowly...at times it seemed to us that he didn't even know how to tackle a certain task or he didn't have the proper tools to do the work at hand. At one point, because he was in a financial bind, we even paid him half of the last instalment...we should have known better! Phone calls and text messages were not answered and communication was non-existent. After 2 months on the job (and having completed less than 25% of the scope of the work), he simply didn't show up any more with barely any explanation given.Palmer Home Services has left us in a financial nightmare, we are now searching for a reputable contractor to clean up this disaster and move forward. Mr. Palmer is not a contractor, he is not trustworthy, he's not professional by any means and we would not recommend hiring him to do any work for anybody.

I have only had positive experiences with Derek from Palmer Home Services. I have used his handyman services for a few smaller jobs. In both instances, the quality of work, price point and professionalism have been top notch. He was quick to prioritize my home repairs to prep for a sale, which included: bathroom grout repairs, painting, railing repairs and some general wall patching. He has also assisted with some general repairs and interior painting at my new home. He is on-time, trustworthy, communicates the job, and cleans up once the job is completed. I would highly recommend his services, 10/10, and would absolutely use his services again in the future.

Palmer Homer Services (Derek) was a pleasure to work with. The cost was reasonable and didn't change when the job was finished. I would highly recommend his services.
