The Dumpling Hut
The place where the grandmother does the dumpling and in front of you! We ordered three kind, chicken, porks and agneau( fried). It vas excellent, I prefered the fried ones because they add crisbyness and they were more juicy inside. A place to try.

Really good dumplings, all made from scratch.We had the cabbage and mushroom, and pork and cabbage. Both were delicious.Hopefully will get to try the fried version next time. (It was too hot and no ventilation the day we went so they werent offering fried.)

Came here for a quick lunch and luckily we beat the crowd. The waitress was super friendly and helpful in recommending from the many types of dumplings offered. Everything from the decommissioned bathtub in the bathroom to the nice lady chopping up dumpling dough behind the counter, screamed “HOMEMADE”. From the menu we ordered miso soup, lamb coriander dumplings and mushroom cabbage dumplings then tied it off with a pot of green tea. Everything came out tasting super fresh and the flavors all mixed in an authentic way. Come here if you want to tastes of an authentic, homemade, steamed dumpling.

Juicy, packed-full dumplings that are flavourful and comforting. Good prices too :)The egg and tofu dumplings were among my favourite (even compared to meat ones). The beef and coriander were also very good.Pork and cabbage were my least favourite.Cute atmosphere - it’s literally in a house.Great for vegetarians!

i came to Montreal about a month ago for a five night stay and ate here three of those five nights. this place serves the most delicious dumplings from a wonderful little kitchen. the place is adorable and a restaurant I will be visiting any time i’m in Montreal.

The Dumpling Hut
Number 4 (meat and coriander ) and number 9 ( meat and onion ) were delicious. It’s a tiny restaurant located in the City Center. Don’t forget to pay when you are ready because nobody is coming to the table for the bills. It took time for us to realize that.

Wonderful restaurant! The food is 10/10 I went three times and will definitely go back whenever in Montreal again! The servers are all so nice and cute and service never takes long! It is a clean and chill space perfect for people of all ages. I also loved the little candy bowl by the register and the little space with the notes in the entrance, so cute!

It was like coming home to a freshly cooked meal after a long day. This place has a homey atmosphere (the place is literally in a home) and delicious food to go with it at a great price!We had the wonton soup, pork and chives dumplings steamed, and pork zucchini shrimp dumplings steamed. The everything was so flavorful and the dumplings were very juicy! You can even taste the freshness of the ingredients they used! I will definitely be going back next time I am in Montreal!
