Wonderfully creative lunch here~ much more than just a tearoom". Locally grown ingredients picked that morning very likely. When you think you're at the end of the road

July 30, 2022 meal at the homestead. We had an absolute wonderful time; great food, exceptionally efficient and friendly service. Enjoyed the tour of the property as well. Highly recommended!!!

Very nice setting. They have events throughout the summer and fall. Old rural PEI farm home set up as Museum. You can get meals or formal tea service there.Produce from their garden it used in the meals.Check times that they open before going.

Great place to walk by yourself or others. A small well maintained forest and the well maintained historical homestead of Sir Andrew MacPhail.

A great little home to visit. Less famous than Green Gables but gracious grounds and friendly staff to show you around. Great story of a family that supported the island economy. Didn't get a chance to try lunch but we bought some of the home made jams and preserves. The gardens grow native plant species from PEI. A nice relaxing visit for the family.

Beautiful and peaceful and friendly. Home cooked simple lunch. We loved getting to go back in time and the historical tour. A breath of fresh air from the hurried pace of daily life. Grateful for our lovely afternoon.

Met Ms. Sile post. She and her acquaintances offer me in depth information of the area. As my great, great grandfather, Duncan McDonald is buried in Uigg Pioneer, Historical Cemetery. This was an enlightening experience beyond my expectations. They referred us to the Gillis lodge where I met a 105 year old relative, Mr. Donald MacDonald born in December 15, 1912. The ladies at Sir Andrew Macphail's place were extremely rewarding to us.Terry and Cindy MacDonaldRedding California

We discovered this quaint spot while on the 70 Mile Yard Sale in September 2018. A secluded spot in the woods which has retained its original character. Nice piece of history.
