Canadian Gemmological Association
Could use some upgrades and updates in their level of customer service and how they process payments. The office felt like a government office from 30 years ago.

Not generally open to the public in the sense that they don't do any appraisals on site or anything but a great organization that is willing to help it's members and the public about information regarding gems and gemmology. If you want to learn about gems or gemmology this is a great place to do it.
